Socialists (unlike Communists) believe in easing folks into the Socialist ideals.
More so than any other group with values?
How does a tiny and powerless minority group accomplish these things?
So many will often spoon-feed Socialism into the population step by step.
A tiny and powerless group is doing this?
Communists, on the other hand, will just bulldoze their way and force their ideal upon the populace in one, fell swoop.
Communism and totalitarianism do have an unfortunate historical overlap, yes.
But only a tiny fraction of the tiny US left is communist, so they're essentially irrelevant.
Biden (philosophically speaking) is closer to Sanders than he will admit.
Well, Sanders is a sleazy real estate investor, but he also seems to at least have some lingering love for social democracy.
Biden is a demented warmongering fascist and conservative criminal capitalist, and a bag/hatchet man for the Democrat Party.
VERY dissimilar men in almost all ways.
But he's far more to the left than John F. Kennedy was.
No - Biden's about the same.
The US has always been a wildly conservative country with criminal capitalist opportunists/psychopaths at its highest levels, and this hasn't changed sine JFK's time.
So, in a hypothetical sense, Biden would likely embrace "single payer" if he was the President 10 or 20 years from now.
Single payer may happen in 20 years or so, once most of the Boomers die off.
But in the meantime, the US will remain the only "advanced" country w/o something like it.
We?
were willing to force the working class to pay for others' tuition is proof that he embraces some very Socialist ideas.
Biden lied about wanting to do loan forgiveness to garner Democrat votes and for no other reason.
Biden is a socialist like Trump is a modest and monogamous husband.
