the President may call into Federal service members and units of the National Guard of any State in such numbers as he considers necessary to repel the invasion, suppress the rebellion, or execute those laws. Orders for these purposes shall be issued through the governors of the States or, in the case of the District of Columbia, through the commanding general of the National Guard of the District of Columbia.

Once it's obvious that it is possible, the next steps will be to fine anyone employing illegals thousands of dollars. Whatever it would they saved in wages times 10, or 100. And put teeth in electronic certification of employment eligibility.

In four years we could cut the illegal immigrant population in half. In eight (and at the rate Democrats are going, we may have 12, or 16 years of Republican executive power) we could easily reduce the invasion to ⅓ it's present footprint.
