It's interesting that most every professional singers that sing the national anthem generally read it from a card or paper and I sincerely doubt most Democrats can repeat the pledge of allegiance or sing the national anthem without assistance and Lords Prayer no way in their hell could they...

I don't know how much first hand experience/exposure you have with "the rest of the world," but in few countries do people have quite the same parochial/prudish views about nudity, sex, sexuality, or eroticism as Americans. Unless she were to have been asked to pose onanistically "spread eagled," there's no reason to expect she'd have demurred. Indeed, were she to have done, it likely would have been career limiting given European, and particularly French, sensibilities.
