Earlier, in the Beck radio show, they played audio clips of an Al Sharpton interview in which he said the FCC should pull the license from any show that speaks about race, gender, ethnicity, etc, in an "offensive manner". Sharpton said "I believe in free speech and they should be able to speak what they believe"....but...then said anything said in an offensive manner should result in a license pull, and that a show "based" on racial, gender or ethnic themes ONLY should be pulled.

Hmmm. Al Sharpton. Saying offensive racial comments should result in a license being pulled. So....freakin'....ironic.

Anyway...yeah, the left typically thinks anything offensive should be banned.

For example, let me post this theory below once again, and watch the flood of people calling me racist. It was part of my senior thesis in college, sociology major, and we had to have a topic that was highly contraversial, and involving a subculture. Anyhow, here is mine, and if this was debated on air, I'd be called a demonic racist and banned by the left:


The NFL is bipolar when it comes to race. It has the Rooney Rule, which forces teams to interview black coaches, because most coaches in the NFL are white. However, most players are black. Black groups say that since most players are black, yet most owners and coaches are white, racism must be at play. While wondering while 95% of NFL defensive players are black, yet no one forces NFL teams to have tryouts for whites to even it out, I pondered this:

The US population is majority white. High school football players are over 70% white. Kinda reflecting our population. Of those high school players, less than 2% play college football later. In college football, the Division 1 level, probably 35-45% are white. A fairly big drop, and far fewer than the white % of general population. Very few college players make the NFL, where the % of white players drops even further.

It's fairly commonly accepted in our society that blacks are better at the "explosive" sports, such as football, track, basketball, boxing, etc. Legendary Air Force Academy football coach Fisher DeBerry got called a racist for making a compliment to blacks, when he said AFA football would improve "if we could recruit more minorities". I guess complimenting their abilities is also racist.

ANYWAY.........

Seeing as blacks make up fewer than 20% of the general population, but over 70% of NFL rosters, I made me wonder, is the NFL racist against white players? Or are blacks truly genetically more gifted? After all, we've heard the movie "White Men Can't Jump", and we've always been told white men have smaller endowed genitals than blacks, so maybe we are just different genetically after all.

Which leads to the conclusion, regarding my NFL example, which is in two parts. Do you believe in a God, or do you not:

If you DO believe in God: IF we were created by God, then he either made blacks genetically superior at explosive sports, and thats why they are simply over represented in these sports, OR he created us 100% equal and the NFL and NBA are simply racist in selecting mostly blacks for their high paying player positions.

If you DO NOT believe in God: Then all creation is random. It is possible that humans of the black race are just superior genetically in sprinting, jumping, strength, etc, and if so, is it not possible that all races are slightly better in some aspect of human endeavor than others? Physical, mental, etc???

SO, there is the question I had, in a free speech debate, which labeled me a raging racist. Are we or are we not created, by a God or just nature, as 100% equal amongst the races? If so, the NFL and NBA are racist with player selection. Thats the only logical conclusion, as more white high school kids play fball and bball in high school than blacks. Or, if you argue blacks are naturally better than whites in these sports, by a God or nature, then A) Is it possible that all races are naturally better at some human function, or B) God and/or nature made blacks better at these sports, but in all other areas of life we are 100% equal (which is an absurd argument really, if we are different in 1 area, it must be possible that we are different in others).

So anyhow, 100% chance I'm about to be called a racist. And 100% chance Al Sharpton would ban my speech. But can anyone really argue against the question in a civil manner? Probably not.
