"While much of the media has reported the partial government shutdown as an unmitigated disaster for President Donald Trump, one poll shows that it didn't help House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) much either.

The NBC/Wall Street Journal found that Pelosi had the worst net approval rating among a list of politicians related to the government shutdown.

National Journal Editor Josh Kraushaar first noticed the stunning result from the poll published Sunday.

"Pelosi's negatives shot up during government shutdown more than any pol," Kraushaar noted, "now the most unpopular politician tested in the survey."
