Liberal lies about national health care: First in a series

Never stood in line at the DMV or to sign up for unemployment, have you??

I have, two years ago when oldest went to take the written part of her driver's test. Stood outside for 90 minutes in 90 degree heat. The line literally crawled. Finally her turn . . . and she failed the test. Lucky us got to do it all over again. And at our DMV there is no phone number that you can call to ask them something. You can go on the web for info but if you have a question that isn't answered on there, too bad. Drive the 45 minutes and ask. Efficient? Not by a long shot.

Then how do you account for the fact that most of the countries with single payer systems have longer life spans than we do?

Oh my, they can't answer that.

That really proves nothing about the quality of health care..... country life span statistics are dependent upon a lot of factors.....murders and accidents are in the mix.....the U.S. has a high rate of murder and life expectancy among our black population is quite low.....

Instead you might ask a more pertinent question....like how much faster and better our health care is compared to countries with socialized medicine....or like why is it exactly that Canadians come to the U.S. for heath care....?

I'll borrow a line from a recent lib media pundit, although it's something I've been talking about for years. How the pigs in our capitalistic system function is purely as slave drivers, and that has a lot to do with quality of life and health.

In the US we get 8 days of vacation (median vacation days) a year compared to other countries who average between 4 - 6 weeks a year. More time to rest, and be with family = happy body and mind (unless your family is nuts of course).

And this is from my own research...

The average median income when adjusted for inflation in America since 1972 to today has decline -.02%, while the top 1% has grown over 536% (and the gap gets larger the higher up into the .1% you go). Health insurance benefits are gone. Not only are two spouses working now, but they are working multiple jobs, pensions are gone, and the list goes on.

This is a serious problem, and any guesses why this has happened? It didn't happen magically.

The claim isn't false by any stretch.

Nobody can take the written or road tests by phone or computer, and Lord help you , when you're transferring a vehicle title/registration, if your bureaucrat can't get their computer to accept a 10-digit VIN when the software calls for one of 14.

Of course, I could leave the realm of the mundane and move to the ATC system, where, in some cases (most notably La Guardia airport), they're still using hand-written cards and a sort of Scrabble board system, devised in the 1940s, to shuffle around air and ground traffic. OTOH, Canada -yes, Canada- privatized their ATC system in the late '80s or early 90s, and delays are almost unheard of.

But then again, I don't expect such examples to be accepted by people who believe all that is good and righteous in America comes from Big Daddy Big Gibmint to begin with.

Yes....excessive taxation is a major factor that interferes with the free market....and the lefty politicians today are heading in that direction....big time....how else are we going to pay for all their reckless spending....? However.... there are other types of government intervention...such as messing with private property for example...or your health care...

I've answered that so many damned times I've decided that you ass monkeys deserve to sit around and marinate in your own deliberate, voluntary ignorance. Whenever you decide you want to grow a pair and actually deal with the issue instead of mindlessly spouting talking points and congratulating yourselves on how "brilliant" you sounded THIS time around, feel free to look up any of the dozens of posts I've already made on this.

I won't hold my breath waiting for any of you nancyboys to man up, though.
