Liberal/Left Podcasts Not Sounding Too Optimistic

Listened to two or three of them today. Pod Save America being one of them. The words were there....the tone; not so much. As an adult, you factor in both but I add more weight to the tone than the words. The tone was not incredibly optimistic. Hope I’m wrong.

I’m avoiding all the news. Most is endless speculation parsing every poll for oracles.

Tomorrow I will vote. And if the outcome isn’t what I want, there is this.

I will still remain me, and I will still have my values and ethics and quirks and there is nothing they can do to change that or to force me to accept their gross distortions and warped vision for America. I am not one of those women who needs to “be protected whether I like it or not”. They can **** off.

In two years there will be another election and another chance to be heard.

Unlike the Republicans, I won’t ransack the Capitol or attempt to violently overthrow the results and I will never ever call violent antiAmerican criminals “patriots”.

It’s hard, but I have to remind myself that historically we really have been through deeply divided times before: the Vietnam War era….Tricky Dick…the evil of the McCarthy era.

Like a massive bowel movement, Trump too will pass should it come to that. Just make sure you keep your head down, the shit show won’t be very pretty.

Can't say I understand why they wouldn't be optimistic. The Senate is a tall Hill to climb, otherwise I think Dems will do quite well tomorrow. Lotta signs point to that. Sleep well. Tomorrow is going to be a good day.
