The economy is supposedly booming, so ... where's the wage growth? You'll have your "chosen ones" at every company that get one promotion after the next, but for most people, the only way they get a real cost of living adjustment, let alone promotion, is by switching companies.

The top tax rate was 90% in the 50s, and the average CEO made 20 times the average worker's wage. Now they make 361 times the average workers wage, and the gap between the super rich and the rest of us is vast. The economy was booming in the 50s and the 60s.

So that’s the problem...CEO’s make too much $$$. Not exporting jobs and destroying industrial unions.

In Texas, lawmakers don't mess with employers of undocumented workers

Have any republicans even put forward any legislation to go after employers? All I seem to be able to find are articles talking about how they have no real interest in it (because some of their donors would be adamantly opposed to the idea, in both parties). Can you find a reputable source that shows that republicans made a real, sincere effort, but were shot down by senate democrats? My company uses E-Verify, but we have employees in almost all 50 states.

Have Democrats put any legislation forward to go after illegals voting?
