Liberal Democrat mayors who say they will defy Trump on sanctuary cities will cave

Liberal Democrat mayors will discover that the federal government has a wide range of options in how they can punish cities that do not cooperate with federal authorities in enforcing federal immigration laws.

Like it or not, the federal government has control of highway funding, police funding, education funding, health and safety funding, welfare funding, and can really screw up any city that refuses to play ball.

Trump will follow through his threat to cut off federal funds, and these liberal Democrat mayors will cave.
