A banner that reads “Black Lives Matter” now hangs from the front porch of Somerville City Hall.

The decision to hang the banner comes after the many police-involved shooting deaths of unarmed black men across different parts of the country.

Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone told The Boston Globe that he worked with members of the Cambridge-based Black Lives Matter organization to create the banner in support of their cause.

“We see this as an important opportunity for an important national conversation,” Curtatone said in regards to racial issues.

What it does is allow liberals to develop social views on minorities based ONLY on what they see in media/online and what they experience on college campuses.

Whereas for example....Southern whites live and work amongst many many minorities and we see reality. Which is....a huge % of minorities are wonderful hard working people....who DON'T need anyone's damn handouts to succeed and who aren't oppressed or abused....but rather they just chose to live right and succeeded.

Liberals however ONLY see minorities as being oppressed and unable to rise above it. Neither are true. But guilty white libs only see media and campus portrayals of it....and they think that's the reality.
