Let's get something clear. When a president puts the military on his citizens, that president is a tyrant. Period.
I said that 1-6 was an insurrection created by a lie about something that did not happen. What we are seeing today is not an insurrection about something we imagine after being brainwashed by lies.

That's the Attorney General of the United States telling Trump that the election was not stolen.. This is the same AG who got cases against Trumps friends dropped. So then what happened on that day was a riot about something people imagined after being brainwashed by lies.
I said there is a rebellion going on against a government that is acting without the consent of the governed. Hell, this government is acting without the consent of the motherfucking courts.
There have been consistent protests against this administration. Repubicans are getting blasted by REPUBLICAN voters. Last weekend was one of the largest protests in American history, and it was against Trump. This is a rebellion.

For reference, that’d mean Saturday’s demonstrations featured 1-2 percent of the total population of 340 million taking to the streets in more than 2,000 cities to voice their opposition to the increasingly authoritarian, far-right policies the president has pursued since assuming office for the second time.
I said that you Republicans can talk all you want about how you won, but the objective is to govern according to the will of all 330 million Americans, not just the 77 million who voted for Trump.
Although Donald Trump only beat Kamala Harris by a razor thin 1.6% margin in the popular vote, the 2024 election was in many ways a blow-out if you consider all the ballots that could have been cast but weren't.
Using data from the University of Florida Election Lab, a new analysis by the Environmental Voter Project shows that 85.9 million eligible voters skipped the 2024 general election, far surpassing the 76.8 million ballots cast for Donald Trump or the 74.3 million for Kamala Harris.
If "Did Not Vote" had been a presidential candidate, they would have beaten Donald Trump by 9.1 million votes, and they would have won 21 states, earning 265 electoral college votes to Trump's 175 and Harris's 98.

I think it is time for some of us to understand exactly what time it is. The president is the president of all the people, not just the people who voted for him. The majority of the people do not consent to what is going on. Therefore, these words describe the time it is right now:

If you support Trump, it is time to face reality. You are not the majority, and that is a fact, no matter how much you don't like it being said. Trump is behaving like a tyrant, and when the government has become tyrannical, it is time to stand up and stop it. Either you are about stopping it, or you are part of the tyranny.

75 million people voted for Harris + 86 million didn't vote for either candidate = 161 million people who did not vote for what Trump wants to do. That 161 million > 77 million people who voted for Trump.
