Let's have a conversation

So, you posted to let us know that ou don't care about what we are talking about, and that you don't have anything to say on the topic?

Ok. Got it. RUn along now.
You’re far too old to be so immature.

Here is the truth. Man up and accept it.

If you're going to call something performative, be prepared to be assailed with your own side's examples of the performative behavior you somehow see in your opponents.

This is called “whataboutism” and not a legitimate debate tactic.

Whether or not that had anything to do with the outcome of an election is the point
Then make it instead of trying to be clever. You aren't. Give up that wish.

On the subject of the 2020 election, 79% overall said it was “very” or “somewhat” likely that “a truthful interpretation of the laptop” would have resulted in the reelection of former President Donald Trump instead of the election of President Biden.

Both Mueller and the US Senate documented numerous connections and meetings between Russian Intel and the 2016 Trump campaign.
There is no proof that Trump colluded with anyone in 2016. So bullshit, you're like the Japanese guy that hid from he end of WWII for 40 years.

The GOP picked up seats in the Congress despite such alleged massive voter fraud. Any thoughts on how that happened?
What a stupid argument. Is math a challenge for you? Why can't there be a smart leftist?????

For those on the left who insist on having a 'conversation' about hot-button issues--remember that's all Charlie Kirk wanted to do.

"Let's have a conversation."

Charlie Kirk wanted to 'have a conversation,' and he got shot dead for it. Is it a conversation you want, or something else? Say, maybe, total capitulation to your own views of the world?

Think about that for a minute. Please.
Good points.

I've seen Charlie Kirk in action on campus twice, once totally by accident and once on purpose.

Some things that impressed me about him:

1. He was very skilled at the Socratic Method
2. He was polite and graceful no matter what vitriol was thrown at him
3. He actually LISTENED to the students and didn't just blow past their points like so many "media" figures do (no matter how ludicrous some of those points were).
4. He was quick to respond, "You make a good point" and then ask a relevant follow-up question.
5. He stated his own views without coming across as "preachy".

IMHO he didn't get shot dead because he wanted to have a conversation, he got shot dead because his conversations opened up and changed a lot of young minds. He was doing EXACTLY what Universities should be doing (and often fail so miserably at), encouraging students to challenge their own strongly held beliefs.

Isn't it a bit early for any conversation? The standard line we hear after mass shootings from the GOP is that "it's too soon". One side wants to take away gun rights now we have the other making a similar attempt against free speech.
It's too early in many respects and even more "too late" in a lot of other ways.

I'm up for just burning it all to the ******* ground and starting over.

But then, I contemplate about what we have to put in its place, how long that will last, etc.

The burn it to the ground part though? That seems easy and tempting sometimes. I won't lie.

If MAGA let's the left run this country, they will kill us, literally and figuratively.

That is real. That is not a myth created by some "real enemy".

YOU doubt me? Go ask Charlie Kirk, is the left is a real threat to us.

He's challenging them to debate him. That's it.

He'll say that he "won", they'll say that they "won".
and he never attempted to change their minds. He offered other information for them to consider. He left many a conversation saying we'll agree to disagree. he even agreed at times with the kids. I personally was quite amazed how much the students knew. Biblical verses and other information. You aren't a person who wishes to debate, you only preach condescendingly to a board. Boring. You won't engage in discussion, you are 100% right and do not want to listen to others. You didn't know Charlie nor did you follow him. you know nothing.

“We don’t care about your ‘both sides’ argument. That shit is dead!” Gutfeld shouted.

“On your side, your beliefs do not match reality so you’re coming up with these rationalizations. ‘What about this, what about that?’ We are not doing that because we saw it happen. We saw a young bright man assassinated and we know who did it!” Gutfeld said.

“The media is dead to us on this story. They built this thing up. We are dealing with it, we are going to act. We don’t care what the what about is anymore, that shit is dead!” Gutfeld shouted.

Holy shit, imagine going up against Hitch.

Kirk was smart to go after kids in college. He saw an untapped market and went for it. That's certainly to his credit, and it will certainly be his legacy.

So can we say the colleges themselves were also smart to "go after kids in college"?

Everyone pretty much understands that colleges - staff and professors - are largely liberal and that a lot of them put a liberal spin on the way they teach their courses. That's been a sticking point for conservatives for years.

So, can we be truly objective casting a jaundiced eye towards Kirk's motives when we know colleges and universities basically do the same thing?

Nobody should ever worry about that.

Do you know how many vets there are and how many homes have firearms?

Ok, found a video this morning that shows the wound to his left neck is an exit wound not an entry wound. Ballistics state that if the wound is bleeding, it is an exit wound. And it was bleeding. This dude states the shot came from behind and hit Kirk below his right ear and why his ear piece flew off. I will add the video if you're ok with that. The content creator is Outside the Overton

Lol. The left has no power in this country. You’ve been duped. Wake the **** up!

Never deer hunted, have you.

AND kirk was just a guy standing on the sidewalk, while the leftards in the college had Authority and offices and controlled grades and degrees and jobs to force compliance.

I've watched several videos of Kirk's "conversations" over the last few days.

They are the standard "I'm 100% right, you're 100% wrong" crap coming from both him and the liberal.

That's a debate, not a conversation. Nothing constructive is created in debates like that. No common ground or new ideas come from that. Kirk was just another hardcore partisan ideologue. Both ends have plenty of them.

I completely disagree with your characterization of Kirk, which is an intended smear, but the fact remains he engaged in peaceful conversation. Peaceful.

The Left murdered him. Even you must understand the difference.

Oh come now.

Now you're just squirming. It's a legitimate tactic when used properly.

What Kirk did was not "performative." He demonstrated that by allowing himself to be directly challenged by college students nationwide. Now when will the left address their deliberate distortion of his comments?

So, the table is yours once again.

Tell that to all the people who got fired from government jobs. Prior to the murder. Now?

GPVT jobs are not a welfare check. SHUP about it Dan. Silicon Valley has laid off 10% since the 70s' every slump in sales. Just SHUP at your clowns $38T over spending.//
