Leonard Peltier Leaves Prison After Biden Commuted His Sentence In The Tilling of Two FBI Agents.

While I would agree with that, if you read books about this case, you will know, that FBI agents admitted to tampering with evidence.
May be. I haven’t seen any such claims. Any links? Titles?
Just the fact that the gun found with Pelteir did not match the munitions that killed those agents? For most sane folks, that is enough to know something untoward was going on.
Depends on how he was charged and what he was convicted of.

In the law (generally), the getaway driver who doesn’t even enter a bank for his cohorts’ planned armed bank robbery is still able to be charged and properly convicted of a murder by the cohorts with the guns inside the bank if they shoot and kill a guard, a customer or a teller.

Hopefully this killer dies a slow and painful death when his time comes.

Right out of the gate you're lying. The F.B.I. hid evidence and prosecution failed to over all the evidence they had. The F.B.I. Agents lied on the stand. There was zero conclusive that Peltier murdered anyone. He was set up because of his ties the A.I.M. (American Indian Movement) and his defense of Native American Rights. But being braid dead MAGA MAGGOT you are, I would expect nothing less

He has admitted to people he was at the shootout but claimed he didn't shoot the agents.

Nice to see your "Right to Life" hypocrisy in action. There is no Some people will serve the world better fertilizer than they ever did in life and he is one of them.

Some people will serve the world better as fertilizer than they ever did in life, this piece of shit is one of them! 😉

And some are lying ass MAGA MAGGOT who shout slogans and the "Right to Life," and don't care who gets killed. You've been a liar scout. You have a value, you live that value. You have no values.

Why don’t you go find anywhere where I said I supported right to life unequivocally! By the way, I’m pro-choice you lose dumbass. 🤣 Not a fan of abortion, but I will never be a 16-year-old girl who made a mistake. I’m OK with some potential restrictions, like a reasonable one like when the child can survive outside the womb then we can start talking about abortion restrictions. I’m a registered Catholic because that’s how I was raised young, realistically I’m agnostic.

This is an erroneous analogy.

The FBI assaulted the reservation looking for someone who stole some leather boots. I'm not sure how that is a federal crime, TBH.

Something to do with Native American jurisdiction issues? I can't say.

A more apt comparison would be Ruby Ridge.

Now, don't get me wrong, Peltier was radicalized and saw nothing wrong with violent resistance to the state and national government upon indigenous rights.

Political violence is a far cry from first degree murder IMO.

Now, I am not saying, Leonard is an angel, he was far from it.

". . . In his 1999 memoir Prison Writings, Peltier admitted he fired at the agents, but denies firing the fatal shots with an AR-15. One of the pieces of evidence the Feds used against Peltier was a casing from an AR-15 found in the trunk of Agent Coler's car, the problem was – Peltier didn’t own an AR-15. And out of those 40 shooters, there were many AR-15’s, while Peltier shot his low-powered .303.

In three separate instances the murder weapons seemed to be hidden in plain sight because no one has ever seen a crime flick where the first thing someone does is ditch a weapon linking them to the murder, but here we are.

Because Peltier’s extradition delayed the trial proceedings, both Bob Robideau and Dino Butler’s trials went ahead as planned and both men were acquitted. Because Peltier’s case didn’t happen as fast, the FBI had time to get Peltier under their thumb.

As the FBI stated their claims of murder and mayhem at the hands of these wild Natives, the all white jury in Fargo, North Dakota frothed at the mouth to convict Peltier for killing these innocent, god-fearing lawmen. To stack the deck against Peltier, the Feds made sure to explain in detail to the jury that the agents were executed after they were already mortally wounded. The jury was shown graphic autopsy photos, which were not presented at the trials of Bob Robideau and Dino Butler.

The prosecution kept 140K pages of FBI investigation materials from the defense. Peltier was not allowed to submit a self-defense testimony, which could have led to an acquittal, as Robideau and Butler used as their grounds for returning fire with the FBI agents, thanks to the climate of fear on the Pine Ridge Reservation.

One ballistics expert testified a bullet casing near the agents came from Peltier’s rifle, while a separate test stated Peltier’s gun didn’t match that casing. The two conflicting facts were not presented, only the former.

Despite not being able to place Peltier as the exact shooter, not having a bullet matching his rifle, nor proving he stood as their executioner, the FBI pressed on. In April 1977, Peltier was convicted with two consecutive life sentences. . . ."

SUMTERVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Native American activist Leonard Peltier was released from a Florida prison on Tuesday, weeks after then-President Joe Biden angered law enforcement officials by commuting his life sentence to home confinement in the 1975 killings of two FBI agents.

Peltier, 80, left Coleman penitentiary in an SUV, according to a prison official. He didn’t stop to speak with reporters or the roughly two dozen supporters who gathered outside the gates to celebrate his release.

Peltier, a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians in North Dakota, was headed back to his reservation, where family and friends will celebrate his release with him on Wednesday and where the tribe arranged a house for him to live in while serving his home confinement.

Did they till soybeans or corn?

Peltier is a murderer.

Beale does not believe the facts. So what?
A sane person could make the argument that he was a criminal, or at best, an indigenous rebel for reservation sovereignty.

There isn't any compelling proof that he did the crime.

The court decided differently.

There was so much wrong with the prosecution of the man.

And the haters here would defend the righwting Ranchers who threatened the lives of Federal Officers.

The feebs should have arrested them immediately.

Leonard Peltier was a victim of deep state politics. Informed folks know that his trial was as garbage as any of those lodged against Trump.

The evidence at the trial was rigged by the deep state.

This is about the power of the deep state being challenged. For normal folks, that should be a lesson.

". . . His trial was riddled with misconduct that would never hold up in a U.S. court today. Prosecutors hid key evidence. The FBI threatened and coerced witnesses into lying. A juror admitted she was biased against Peltier’s race on the second day of the trial, but was allowed to stay on anyway.

There was never proof that he murdered two FBI agents during that 1975 shoot-out on Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. But the FBI needed someone to take the fall. The agency had just lost two agents, and Peltier’s co-defendants were acquitted based on self-defense. This was happening as the FBI was fueling tensions on the reservation as part of a covert campaign to suppress the activities of the American Indian Movement, or AIM, a grassroots group of activists focused on drawing attention to federal treaty rights violations, discrimination and police brutality targeting Native Americans. . . "

Yeah, that's how I heard it too
