Biden Grants Clemency To Leonard Peltier

.

Said the FBI.

Haven't we learned yet how trustworthy they are?

.
He murdered two FBI agents...fled in an RV...had ANOTHER shoot out with police and eluded capture...they found one of the dead FBI agents guns in the RV with Peltier's fingerprints on it in that RV...and then Peltier fled to Canada...when he was finally captured he told several different accounts of this whereabouts that were all lies.

The guy did it.

I can accept that I may have been believing wrong all these years. I wasn't there.

Nor were you.

No one is arguing innocence.

WASHINGTON ― With literally minutes left in his presidency, Joe Biden on Monday granted clemency to Leonard Peltier, the ailing Native American rights activist whom the U.S. government put in prison nearly 50 years ago after a trial riddled with misconduct and lies.

In a statement as President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration was underway, Biden announced he is “commuting the life sentence imposed on Leonard Peltier so that he serves the remainder of his sentence in home confinement.”
Shortly afterward, Peltier said he’s ready to get back to his family.

Good job Joe.

Remember this the next time a leftist tries to gin up sympathy for the cops who were allegedly injured on Jan 6.

This guy murdered a cop, and Biden gave him a pardon.

I wasn't there for 100% of murders that have been prosecuted...so I tend to rely on the people who were...and the juries...and the appeals courts...and the parole boards.

Is that the new standard? If I wasn't there, set them free?

Cuz that would literally be a release for every criminal.

Please tell me that you don't rely on everything that America's courts did, or tried to do, to Donald Trump, as being factual, fair and just, just because they are "the courts".

I accept the possibility that the FBI of that time might have been more honest, and I have made it clear that I accept that I may be wrong.

Of course not... but that belief is evidence based. I KNOW that the prosecutors inflated misdemeanors to felonies and disregarded evidence from the supposed "victims"...the lenders... that testified they were happy with the loans they made to Trump, they did their due diligence on those loans and that they would happily loan Trump money again.

I KNOW that New York State specifically waived the statute of limitations on a 30+ year old civil case for the sole purpose of getting Trump. I know that the plaintiff, who was the only witness, claimed she was wearing a dress that hadn't been released at the time she claimed this event occurred.

I KNOW that the FBI tampered with the evidence in the documents case.

I KNOW the prosecution depended on the testimony of convicted perjurer Michael Cohen in the campaign finance case.

I KNOW President Trump called for peaceful protests on January 6th.

These are facts, not gut feelings and vague suspicions of a possible frame up.

I've deep dived this case prior to this pardon...because like you, I don't want innocent men in prison.

I found not a single fact to lead me to question the finding of the jury...
AND he ADMITTED to participating in the shootout with the two murdered FBI Agents...

"In his 1999 memoir Prison Writings: My Life Is My Sun Dance, Peltier admitted to participating in the shootout but said he did not kill the FBI agents." LINK

And if I remember correctly he is also suspected of murdering a fellow Native American Activist Anna Mae Aquash to cover up his involvement with the murders of the two FBI Agents...

Edit- "Numerous Aquash supporters and her daughters believe that higher-level AIM officials, including Leonard Peltier, ordered her murder, fearing she was an FBI informant.[8][9]"

So, excuse my language, but fuck that murderin' motherfucker. He should have spent the rest of his miserable life in prison for the crimes he admitted to openly.

"The former common-law wife of American Indian Movement leader Dennis Banks implicated AIM leaders in the murder of her friend Anna Mae Pictou-Aquash.

According to news reports, Darlene Nichols, also known as Ka-Mook Nichols, said Aquash was terrified of Banks and Leonard Peltier. She testified that she was with Aquash when Peltier bragged about killing two FBI agents. Peltier is serving two life sentences for the crime.

Nichols said she heard, but did not witness, that Peltier once pointed a gun to Aquash's head because he believed she was a federal informant. In the months before her murder, rumors were rampant within AIM that Aquash was an informant.

Aquash's body was found on the Pine Ridge Reservation on February 24, 1976. Nichols testified that Banks called her that same day and told her Anna Mae was dead. Authorities, however, weren't unable to identify the body until much later."

Yeah... This really pissed me the fuck off... kidnapping, torturing and murdering a 30 year old mother.

Can I prove he did it? Nope.

But there's enough evidence that I believe that he did...or ordered it done.

And we KNOW from his own free admission he engaged in a shoot out that led to the murder of two FBI agents.

Yeah...I remember why I hate this motherfucker.

But it's no surprise that Democrats love him. They're da-m near as evil as he is to celebrate this pardon.

I'll just leave this here.

If you want to learn more and have Hulu or Disney+, you can watch and remember...
