Sadly this is nothing new.

When I was in High School we had a male teacher run away with a female special ed student of theirs. Girl came back 2 weeks later, the teacher as far as I know was never found, but did not really follow it after I graduated.

Teacher is a thousand kinds of wrong here. You either bring treats for the entire class OR the treats are some kind of MERITED favor, say a prize in a bingo game. She was entirely too invested in this personally and it shows. 100% unprofessional.

Sadly this is nothing new.

When I was in High School we had a male teacher run away with a female special ed student of theirs. Girl came back 2 weeks later, the teacher as far as I know was never found, but did not really follow it after I graduated.

The way it has always worked. He moved to another State and got a teaching job. No name change or anything the teachers Unions and School systems has some disturbing things in common with the Catholic Church.
