Lefties stop lying and complaining about a “conspiracy theory” regarding the hurricane Helena

That is just a tiny fraction of what they have given to the invaders.
Yeah, since I simply posted a press release from the white House, as I stated in my post, take it up with Biden's "staff".

We all know it our government has given away hundreds of billions of dollars to foreign countries for their wars that have zero effect on we the American people. And our government is giving away lots of money and resources to illegal immigrants. The fault is not with the illegal immigrants. They’re just taking advantage of a situation like any human would.

But that is why there are people in North Carolina getting on video saying they can’t access the $750 when they apply for it. So stop lying left wingers. Stop complaining that this is some kind of “conspiracy theory” because it’s not. We have direct evidence of people in North Carolina saying either the $750 is not enough or they get denied when they apply for it.

The fact that FEMA has problems, the fact that Americans in North Carolina cannot get access to resources is a direct result of our government giving away hundreds of billions of dollars to foreign countries for their wars that have no effect on us. And resources being shifted to illegals. Not to mention this heinous DEI which is throwing a wrench into things as well.
All of the paid shills got the memo from The Party "WE NEED AN ALL OUT SMOKE SCREEN ON FEMA AND HELENE!!! WE WILL DOUBLE YOUR USUAL DOLLAR PER POST RATE!!!"

If your house and everything is gone, 750 $ is not that much. There are additional funds the FEMA provides for but only for Helene. The statement is clear, another hurricane in this season cannot be covered. The government will have to fund them.
The bureaucratic rules/laws for legally transferring moneys between accounts, even within one agency can be bizarre, but supposedly written to prevent money from being squandered, or worse. I understand, FEMA has $6 Billion in an account left over from Katrina, that was supposed to be dispersed for those victims and account closed by 2016, but they got it extended to 2026. So it is sitting there, but cannot legally be spent on anything but Katrina victims. I am not used to that kind of thing. It usually works for most department to have everything spent yearly by end of fiscal year, or it is lost, and reverts. That is why there is big departmental spending close to end of fiscal year, and if not spending their budget, the budget can get cut, so they usually make sure to blow money on wish lists, if necessary to clear accounts. Must be different in an agency like FEMA, having to keep availability for dispersal, on specific budgeted funds from Congress for specific longer needs. One would think, if they had money left, supposedly having to disperse by 2016, it would have long since reverted, but I don't have any idea how Congress wrote that.

It sure will take care of you in the short term… as intended

And I believe it is the same amount provided for the Hawaii and CA disasters
Additional to the $750 relief fund $44,5 million as of October 4th.

Interested Parties Memo: Fighting Hurricane Helene Falsehoods with Facts

  1. Home
  2. Briefing Room
  3. Statements and Releases
Senior Advisor to the President and Communications Director Ben LaBolt, and Director of Digital Strategy Christian Tom
Under President Biden and Vice President Harris’s direction, the Administration has mobilized a robust, intensive, and whole-of-government effort to respond to the impacts of Hurricane Helene. This includes extensive pre-landfall preparations, as well as an immediate surge of additional resources and personnel to impacted communities. More than 6,400 Federal personnel are on the ground, and more than $110 million in Federal assistance has been given to survivors, with more to come. We are sparing no resource as we work to ensure communities across the Southeast have prompt access to Federal resources that will enable them to both purchase essential items and begin their road to recovery and rebuilding.
Unfortunately, as our response and recovery efforts continue, we have seen a large increase in false information circulating online related to the federal response to Hurricane Helene. A number of scam artists, bad-faith actors, and others who want to sow chaos because they think it helps their political interests are promoting disinformation about the recovery effort, including ways to access critical and live-saving resources. This is wrong, dangerous, and it must stop immediately.
Combatting misinformation and disinformation is always important – but it is especially important when responding to disasters like Hurricane Helene. In fact, disinformation after a hurricane or other natural disaster can discourage people from seeking critical assistance when they need it most. It is imperative that we encourage impacted residents to register for FEMA assistance, not discourage it, by allowing falsehoods to spread.
Leaders from across the country, including local, state, and federal elected officials in both parties, are pleading with people to stop sharing “this junk.”
  1. CNN: With misinformation swirling in Hurricane Helene’s wake, officials urge residents to ‘stop this conspiracy theory junk’
  2. HuffPost: North Carolina Republican Pleads To End Right-Wing Conspiracy Theories About Helene Disaster Recovery
  3. The Hill: Tennessee mayor on FEMA attacks post-Helene: ‘Quit spreading those rumors’
  4. WVLT: ‘A lot of misinformation’ | Gov. Lee, FEMA address donation rumors
Here are some of the falsehoods being spread online – and the facts we are fighting back with:
FALSEHOOD: Disaster relief funds were used on immigrants in the U.S. illegally.
FACT: No money is being diverted from disaster response needs. None. FEMA’s disaster response efforts and individual assistance is funded through the Disaster Relief Fund, which is a dedicated fund for disaster efforts. Disaster Relief Fund money has not been diverted to other, non-disaster related efforts.
  1. Washington Post: No, Biden didn’t take FEMA relief money to use on migrants — but Trump did
  2. NBC News: False claims about FEMA disaster funds and migrants pushed by Trump
  3. CNN: ‘This is FALSE’: White House responds to Trump’s FEMA disaster relief claims
FALSEHOOD: FEMA is in the process of confiscating Helene survivor property. If I apply for disaster assistance and my land is deemed unlivable, my property will be seized.
FACT
: FEMA cannot seize your property or land. Applying for disaster assistance does not grant FEMA or the federal government authority or ownership of your property or land.
  1. Verify: No, the government isn’t seizing land in Chimney Rock, N.C., and bulldozing the town
FALSEHOOD: FEMA will only provide $750 to disaster survivors to support their recovery.
FACT
: This is a type of assistance that you may be approved for soon after you apply, called Serious Needs Assistance. It is an upfront, flexible payment to help cover essential items like food, water, baby formula, breastfeeding supplies, medication and other emergency supplies. There are other forms of assistance that you may qualify for to receive, and Serious Needs Assistance is an initial payment you may receive while FEMA assesses your eligibility for additional funds. $750 is what is immediately available to eligible survivors. In addition, survivors may qualify for more FEMA financial assistance, including to repair storm-related damage to homes and property, find a temporary place to stay, and receive compensation for lost crops and livestock.
FALSEHOOD: FEMA and the FAA are restricting air space in North Carolina, preventing private citizens from delivery relief.
FACT
: There are no airspace restrictions in place in North Carolina as rescue efforts continue because of Hurricane Helene. Pilots looking to come into Asheville or Rutherford airports need to reach out to the airport for permission to land. The FAA is working with local authorities to ensure rescue efforts happen safely.
The Biden-Harris Administration continues to work via the official White House digital channels to inform the public of the response and recovery efforts to dispel the misinformation being shared, with higher volume on X than other platforms. Updates will continue to be shared about the volume and scope of federal aid being delivered.

The Biden- Harris Administration is also engaging trusted online publishers and influencers to connect with FEMA as a way to meet people where they are and provide them with accurate information. One example of this partnership includes MeidasTouch: Trump lies instantly debunked by FEMA spokesperson. This digital video resulted in reach across both digital and traditional media, including a local Alabama newspaper combatting misinformation.
In addition, the White House will leverage our opt-in SMS messaging platform to share messages to those in affected areas. SMS is a more resilient form of communication where data connectivity might still be recovering, and this is a further example of using all parts of digital communications to reach people who need information and assistance.

Just like every other natural disaster. Response is seldom fast enough for those affected. Its 31 days until the election so the right wing is trying to make this the crime of the century...much like they did with a train derailment in Ohio.

Its rather funny.

Why are you sure it was 100B in Ukrainian assitance (which we OWE to them after they gave up their nukes in exchange for our security assurances) and not 1 trillion in Trump's tax cuts or 3 trillion in Covid relief?

The special pleading seems off the chart.

Though let me explain something to you ignoramuses, Feds can pass a suplemental ANYTIME, yes, with all of the spending mentioned above.

I have several family members around Asheville, and in Marion and Brevard and Mars Hill. All are ok, none are looking for fema, several have been busy trying to help their neighbors. Obviously I hope the best for all of them.
The best thing the feds could do would be to get I40 and I26 open and get the water system working in Asheville. I think if they did that in an emergency type fashion, the people would do the rest themselves.

I have a friend living in Hendersonville and haven't been able to reach him.
Everyone has been gocusing on Asheville and Spartanbrg, while Hendersonville is between both of them.

As Hurricane Helene careened toward Florida's Panhandle, numerous Republicans voted against extending funding for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Last week, Congress approved $20 billion for FEMA's disaster relief fund as part of a stopgap spending bill to fund the government through December 20. But the measure left out billions of dollars in requested supplemental disaster funding.

The Senate approved the measure by a 78-18 vote on September 25 after it passed the House in a 341-82 vote. Republicans supplied the no votes in both chambers.

So let's look at Geo Engineering to facilitate a land grab .

Bit too much for Sheeple to even research.
But didn't they do something similar in Hawaii ?

Of course it was not an EMP .
What sort of Critical Thinker would look at that possibility ?

Have they passed a supplemental Hurricane Relief Fund since the Hurricane happened? Congress usually does that immediately?

Which wars have "zero effect on we the American people"???

If you think these wars have zero effect, it's because you don't understand how everything works.

Did you know that a drought in the Ukraine and Russia led to the Arab Spring in 2011? The civil war in Syria, the rise of ISIS was in large part because of a drought somewhere completely different.

Imagine if Russia controlled all of that agricultural land. How much impact do you think this would have on the world? All those oil rich countries which the US has put loads of money into getting rid of their dictators... well... they'll end up under Russian influence.

Imagine OPEC, which Bush wanted to destroy after Chavez tried to make them into an effective cartel, with Russia controlling them with food.

"

Natural gas, rare earth minerals: What's at stake for Ukraine in the territory Russia is trying to conquer"

"
Ukraine has the potential to become a "critical mineral superpower," according to a recent evaluation by SecDev, an Ottawa-based research and analysis think-tank.

The country ranks fourth globally in terms of total assessed value of natural resources, with roughly $15 billion in annual output and a potential "assessed value [that] could be as high as $7.5 trillion," according to the report."

And even more important are the rare earth minerals. China has a lot of them, and the Ukraine does too. If the US loses these rare earth minerals... then the US and the EU might find making technology more difficult, and China and Russia will find it easier.

Who do you think will then win in a war?

That's true, Hendersonville suffered flooding as well. If it is any comfort, one of my cousins is in Flat Rock, just outside Hendersonville, he says they don't have the damage like Asheville, Canton or chimney Rock. It sure has messed up the apple harvest though
