Despite the best efforts of the Prison Industrial Complex, most young black men don't go to prison, so that's not an accurate sample.

So another episode of "Check your Privilege", a white kid with a parents is going to be able to afford bail and hire a lawyer when little Timmy gets into trouble, while little Jamal's parents (who may or may not be living together at that point) can't and he ends up in the Prison-Industrial Complex.

It's also not true... Single mOther does not mean that the father isn't involved. It just means they aren't married, because getting married is kind of expensive. White kids, on the other hand, are more likely to have divorced parents who don't live together.

The ironic thing is, there are things you could do to make black families less dependent on government. Support a living wage, for instance, so working poor don't have to get government supplements to survive.

We spend 2 Trillion on Middle Class "entitlements" a year (medicare, Social Security, Unemployment Insurance), but you guys constantly whine about the half a trillion we spend on poverty relief. Talk about your messed up priorities.

The democrat party and left wing associate groups are responsible for the gun violence in our major cities.....their policies and actions allow violent, repeat gun offenders to be released from jail and prison over and over again...

For example....the 21 year old gang member who gave a gun to 13 year old Adam Toledo was bailed out by one of these groups....this gang member, wanted on a previous felony gun charge, gave the 13 year old a gun.......and having that gun led to the death of that 13 year old...

What led to the death of that 13 year old was a cop engaging in an unnecessary foot chase and shooting him after he complied and put his hands up.

During a court hearing Monday for Ruben Roman, the man who’s accused of firing a gun and then giving it to 13-year-old Adam Toledo moments before police fatally shot the boy, a Cook County judge revealed that the 21-year-old managed to get out of jail because a community bond fund paid his bail.

The Chicago Community Bond Fund (CCBF) paid a $40,000 deposit to get Roman out of jail after he was ordered held on $150,000 bail for charges related to the Toledo incident and $250,000 bail for violating the terms of probation in an earlier gun case. Both bail orders required 10% deposits.

Not seeing a problem here. If they thought his crime was that serious, they should have demanded he be held without bond. "Just having a gun while not being a white person" isn't a good enough reason to keep someone in jail when the jails are already overcrowded.

So here's a crazy idea. Let's get rid of bail altogether. Instead of locking up non-violent felons who can't make bail, let's just lock up the dangerous people. Then you can make the case that this guy really wasn't part of a well-regulated militia.
