Left/right news media entertainment?

Ever notice how the left/right news media seems to need one another? I mean their debates(?) often seem to remind me of Laurel & Hardy's "Who's On First Base" skit. I've long thought that the news media in general could care less who gets into office as long as it's a fed reserve controlled RepubliCratic Duopoly Party(RCDP)candidate. I could certainly be wrong on my assumption here but it seems like over the last five decades that the situation remains stagnant in g'ment no matter who gets elected into office, in all levels of g'ment @ that! If the situation does change it always seems to be for the worse, eg: increased debt $pending, graft/corruption, world cop/endless military $pending, increased taxation, student debt, unaffordable health care, bail outs, scandals & the list goes on & on. Is the new$ media taking Americans for a ride or what???
