The new premier/prime minister will set off at least a mini-Lehman moment and here's why:
Leadstrom as the mother of three is a firm advocate of rip the damn bandage off thus giving Merkel the political equivalent of a slam bam, thank you ma'am.
May is a firm advocate of talking everything to death in nanoscopic detail and forming a massive bureaucracy to do so. Her successors should have the UK out of the EU by the turn of the century.
So the choice is torquing off the leave camp with May or torquing off the EU with Leadstrom.
My best guess is that the first round winner will lose a vote of confidence rather quickly and urinate another three or more months away. So, the mini-Lehman moment should hit late Sept./early Oct.
