Russia has lost around 1,118,000 military personnel since the start of the war in Ukraine, including up to 332,000 this year alone, according to British intelligence.

The recorded level of losses in the Russian army decreased from March to August 2025 but has been steadily rising in October, exceeding 1,000 per day between October 5 and 12.

Russia had some brilliant and creatives minds. They had astronauts, engineers, creative chess players and hockey players.

The system always eats up their talent or send their young to die. If any poor Russian had an inventive mind or was different, had anything to do with business or the human spirit to create and design, they were destroyed, often by jealous police agencies. In many ways like Canada today, "destroy them when they are young and keep them in their caste".

It's so bad that Canadians are shocked that an American auto company is headed back to America from Canada. Russia is the same. Their nepotism and kakistocracy have decimated their potential. How many potentially great minds and souls did Putin send to their deaths?

It's absurd. I guarantee you this is what Trump can't wrap his mind around and I agree. What a bloody waste of human souls. For nothing.

What is worse, they didn't even get the basic idea of the Russian motivation in this game. We are not acting in the logic of "balance of losses and profits" ("losses are high, profits are low, lets retreat and control damage"), and even if we were - we anyway saved more lives than lost. We are acting in the logic of "elimination the threat" ("losses are high, the threat is even more significant than we thought, we can't allow this threat exist, we are going to eliminate it whatever the price is, because if we don't - the losses are going to be much higher").

Well, the USA alone has donated about 300 billion dollars towards that end and I'm guessing the EU gave 200 billion more, so I'd like to think that half-trillion dollars helped to that end, otherwise, it should have been a fair cake walk for Putin.
