Late comeback against Penguins propels Leafs back to post-season

If there are any NHL fans here, this is a huge deal. Youngest team in the league, in the first year of a major rebuild and they sneak into the playoffs with Matthews, an American, most likely going to be rookie of the year after potting his 40th. Going to be a fun few years and hopefully a Cup at the end of it all!

The last we saw of him Oswald Cobblepot was shot by Ed Nygma, and dumped into the river, making it seem fairly certain, in that limited context, that he is indeed dead. However, we know, both from the status of this part of the story as a prequel to the Batman saga, and even from what limited summaries are available of upcoming episodes of Gotham, that the Penguin will make a comeback. I don't know what Mr. Cobblepot is going to care or do about any “Leafs” [sic], but surely that isn't going to be at all an important part of any story.
