I was 13 or 14 when my older brothers hit the road. They told me "here's my records- take care of them, don't sell them, and make sure they're here when I get back".

This was one of them.

Y'know- it's not so much that music has changed, it's that the people who make the music have changed. Society has changed, technology has changed, culture has changed.

And we're all worse off for it.

Recorded in 1967. Released in 1968.

Pioneers/precursors of punk rock, noise rock, alternative rock, ambient and drone, experimental rock, and many others... Absolutely brilliant and ahead of their time.
