‘Largest Deficit Reduction Bill in History’ — Official Estimate Shows Debt Deal Cuts More Than $2.1 Trillion in Spending

That spin won’t work. Everyone knows Biden got dragged into this one kicking and screaming. Biden lost the spin war on this one. He can’t snatch victory from
The jaws of defeat.
That’s idiotic. So with your logic should trump get zero credit for the things he signed in from congress? would those be dem victories?

Biden isn’t getting credit for the recent agreement from anyone except hacks like you. And your numbers are dwindling. Biden and the Democrats lost this one.

Trump is not relevant in this one.

He was relevant to the question I asked to see if your argument holds. Nice dodge.

If it’s signed in then it’s Bidens stamp. He gets the credit. That’s how it works

Oh, he'll get the "credit" alright.

When their tax payer funded gravy train comes to an abrupt halt, all those student loan Borrowers will thank Joe by staying home on election day.

Woops.

The CBO takes issue with any Leftist "retards" *Cough* the Monopoly Guy *Cough* trying to paint this as a Dem victory.

Like all Leftist propaganda, it turned out to be nothing but a load of excrement.

Oh well, I guess it was fun while it lasted.
massive win for McCarthy and the GOP

Oh yeah, nothing for the GOP in this deal at all:

Give...me...a...break.
I don't think you get it....

The GOP congress need a win, any fucking win...
Dems look at them and give them a bone because Kevin is very weak and they probably think it best to leave him have his role...

Dems just say they lost (which they din't really) until passed and then back to laughing to Kevin...

It was both party's interest to keep idiots like you in the dark...

If we had real deficit reduction, we would see it. We get some reduction from the massive increases in deficit spending. The results from previous congressional legislations increasing deficits due to Covid or anything else means nothing to reality. So old Joe reducing a two trillion deficit to one trillion dollars means nothing as it was going to lower anyway. It is actually balancing the budget that then comes into view. What hurts is that men like Joe are not qualified to be low level employees in his field.

Disagree.

We've seen time and time again over the last 2 1/2 years of Herr Biden's duplicitous reign - they say COVID programs are going to sunset; then they kick the can down the road.

The student loan repayment "pause" (translation: Joe taxpayer picks up the tab), has been extended multiple times. And when the Supreme Court rules against "Forgiveness", as they surely will, Biden would have extended the "pause" again without this binding language in the Debt Ceiling deal.

And that's just one example. Extrapolate that out to all the goodies the Dems would keep if they could.

If you think a totally Democrat Congress would have passed anything even remotely resembling this bill, you're in la la land.

We have a divided Congress with a slim GOP majority in the House, in that context this deal is a monumental win.

What hurts is that men like Joe are not qualified to be low level employees in his field.

No argument there. ;)
