As long as the fracking is done thousands of feet below the ground it won't affect the water table or just about anything else. Too big a thing is made of it. But when the oil is near the surface then fracking IS a danger. I live in Colorado and the oil is really, really deep. Fracking here is perfectly safe. But fracking where the wells are only a few hundred feet really screws things up and can create ground tremors not to mention screw up the water table. It needs to be regulated better but within reason.

Biden didn't say that at all. But if we end up being energy neutral in X number of years, you will be fracking less is what that Mayor is saying. And it's the truth. Many places are selling off their surplus that are energy neutral. We do that here. How about reporting it for real instead of lying about it to try and make another Crisis that doesn't exist.

Wind and solar cannot possibly supply the energy we need.

But it isn't just wind and solar alone...it's energy saver appliances, and more efficient machinery that manufactures, it's fuel standards in new cars and trucks....

Huge cuts in energy usage, because we found out in this pandemic shut down, that employees can do their work, from home....reducing car gasoline usage....reducing big energy usage at businesses.

And creating a safer nuclear energy plant and safer disposal of waste system....

It's a 'waste not, want not' playing field....

Yes, no one or two simple things will reduce our dependency on fossil fuels.... but a combination of a lot of little things that can help...

There is no issue with what you typed. It is the progression of the technology created that also does not lose us millions of jobs doing it.
