Your first sentence has no proof....given that there is NO VIDEO EVIDENCE OF WHAT TRANSPIRED PRIOR TO THE CHASE.

We do know that Rittenhouse purposely sought out this area of civil unrest....uninvited by any property owner in the area, strutting around brandishing a fire arm he was NOT legally allowed to have in that state in that venue.

One does not seek confrontation and then claim self defense when the situation does not go one's way. Courts kind of frown on that "logic".

Also unknown were the locations of Huber, Rosenbaum, or Grosskreutz at that point in the night, or whether they had interacted with Rittenhouse before shots were fired.
