The average life expectancy of career correctional officers has dropped below 60 years--its 59 years. Let that marinate in your brain for a second.

The reason for the decrease in life expectancy (likely) has many facets to it but chief amongst these is that it is where the "rubber hits the road" as far as carrying out harsh punishments--the kind the right wing seems to get off on. Nobody (despite what you may read after this post) is expecting there to be a country club behind prison walls. Staffing needs to increase so that time "in the pit" is not extended and shared with a larger number of corrections professionals. The Alligator Auschwitz this dope has built will certainly be enjoyed, from a distance, by conservatives but the conditions inside will not be worthy of this great nation.

I just love all of the publicity. It discourages illegals from coming here, which is the number one best solution to the problem. Now, if we could have a few escapees who get chomped on by alligators, that would be even more of a deterrence to illegal immigration.
