I find Kristallnacht a very discriptive term and it is used and understood internationally.
But in Germany politically correct people tell us not to use it, as it was too harmless.

The Brownshirts were decimated ( night of the long knives ) by 1938 and Hitler had complete Control , the Brownshirt Street rabble were the ones who initiated the Beatings and attacks known as Krystalnacht , if any Jews waited til 1938 to get out it was too late . 1936 was always the year that the Krystalnacht was happening , sheesh by 1938 the country was on a war footing with incursions into the Ethnic German speaking frontier regions to the east .

It was two Nights , and I know that the Nazi anti Jew Mask was completely off by 1938 ( so I will just chalk this up to the Mandela effect , I’m not gonna be convinced on the November 9th -10th 1938 date . I have Friends whose parents got out in 35-36 for good reasons ( and I think those reasons were as viable as Krystalnact or its precursor activities .
