Yes, Putin welcomes the US pausing military aid to Ukraine. He knew trump was willing to do that, since that was one of the orders he gave to him on one of their MANY calls in the last few weeks. Putin will just stop fighting during this period and I bet he is even willing to give back some of the Ukrainian territory he has stole, not to mention some of the kids that he took from their parents in Ukraine.
