Here's the thing, even if the shooter isn't affiliated with the left in anyway, the way people have cheered this on and said he brought it on himself is enough to drive people away from the left. The number one reason for people leaving the democrat party is other democrats. For all the different things I have aligned in belief with that party, I will never vote for or support them because of the way they behave and I'm not so unique as to be the only one. If people are leaving the party in mass droves, it's because of how many other behave within it. That's on the party. They won't care though.
