I bought real-estate after the 2008 crash. I only wish I had done the same in my area during COVID.

Tariffs had a very minimal effect on inflation.

The money being brought in and increased US productivity outweighed the small inflationary effect. Doesn’t matter now that they are being refunded to corporation who are making out like bandits now.

Tariffs don't add to productivity; they create unnecessary expense. The money we are spending on tariffs is money we can't spend on new machinery or employees.

I didn’t say the economy was that bad, I said there was a downturn since the conflict. It will be short-lived.

Yeah, okay, and when we are in a full-blown recession, you'll come up with another excuse.

How bad does Trump have to screw things up before you admit you made a mistake?

Iran was happily enriching uranium to weapons grade. Once a nuke was built, they would have had all the bargaining power they needed to extort the world.

Extort it to do what, exactly? Leave it alone? Why, that would be terrible.

Re. AI, as usual, you don’t know what you are talking about. Trump can’t stop AI from destroying jobs. Nobody can. That is farcical. What could he possibly do to keep people from using AI to write their resumes instead of paying someone like you do do it?

Actually, I've seen AI resumes. They're crap.

The funny thing is that ATS programs are being programmed now to look for AI content.

Frankly, I'd never hire someone with an obviously AI resume. If they are too lazy to apply for the job properly, they are going to be pretty lazy on the job.

AI is a menace.

I bought a battled down stock and tripled my money on it within 6 months.

As far as COVID, I wish I had acted quickly to buy the crash in spring 2020. But the recovery was too rapid and I was too slow on the draw.

I think for myself. The economy wasn’t crashing back when this was posted, but he was told it was.

They should do a study on the MSM effect. Many Democrats parrot them word for word on a daily basis on this very site. People from both sides of the aisle show selective belief when news benefits their side.

MSM has greater appeal to average people, not the KKK wannabes that FOX is a magnet for. FOX knows their viewers well and they know how to play them.
