Calling Hitler a Marxist is a bit much eh?The list is composed of "Marxist" ideologues, not just mass murderers. That is special. Many others exist. Humans are capable of horrendous inhumanity.
Yeah..of course the Brit's also strapped natives across the barrels of their cannon..and blew them into pieces.the British stopped Thugee and Suttee
I'm not too sure that, programs like "strength through Joy" seem kind of socialist to me and then there is the People's Wagon ,car, of course the war interfered with the production of the cars.Calling Hitler a Marxist is a bit much eh?
I know, some whackos have been trying for years to conflate Fascism and Communism. But..No. Hitler was not a Marxist..and despite having Socialist in their name..the NAZI's were not a Socialist program. They were just talking the cant of the Working German, to get their support.
A similarity in method does not have to mean a similarity in economic or political goals.
Both ideologies were/are horrible..but their underpinnings are completely different.
The NSDAP the National Socialist Democratic and Workers Party, the only reason to include the words Socialist and workers was to attract the Germans who would otherwise have had reservations about the party, there were some of the party leadership who were against the inclusion of those words, but the Nazis party was based on racial superiority and Nationalism, they didn't want to do away with Capitalism or control it like Socialists they established a Regime that collaborated with Capitalism and created a hybrid between State and Capitalists, Capitalists benefitted from the industrial military complex by manufacturing everything from building the Autoban to construction of the Gas chambers at Auschwitz, companies like Krupp and IG Farben, Socialists they were not.I'm not too sure that, programs like "strength through Joy" seem kind of socialist to me and then there is the People's Wagon ,car, of course the war interfered with the production of the cars.
