Killing Ragheads for Jesus: American Sniper

What the support for this movie does, once again, just like the November elections, is show that there are FAR MORE, CONSERVATIVE, MILITARY SUPPORTING, PATRIOTIC AMERICANS in America than there are MEALY MOUTHED, WHINY, PAJAMA BOY, MILITARY HATING, UNPATRIOTIC PROGTARD TRASH.

And THAT has the slimy little leftists all bent out of shape, having it made painfully obvious to them in a very short time, that THEY are the MINORITY.

I love it. Because not only are well shown that they are the minority, we all get to see once again just what kind of FILTHY, ANTI AMERICAN FECES these shit stains are. The left is nothing more than ISIS born in America.

Insecure much?
Own it, dumb fuck.

The Iraq war had the full support of the LEFT as well, and very large coalition of other nations as well, MORON.

Based on lies told by a Republican Administration. I'm not really interested in blame though, I don't find it particularly useful. What is useful though is recognizing the simple fact that the Iraq war was both unjust and a terrible idea.

You morons do know that is was a Democrat controlled congress that authorized the war. You clowns are seriously stupid.

Once again basing their decision off of faulty information provided by a Republican administration. Did you guys even pay attention to the issue at all when it was going down?

Who's the villain of American Sniper?
cheney.jpg

Dick or "The Butcher?"

"Enter The Butcher—a fictional Iraqi character created for the film. Here we get the most evil of the evildoers. He is dressed in a long black leather jacket and dispatches his victims with an electric drill. He mutilates children—we see a child’s arm he amputated. A local sheik offers to betray The Butcher for $100,000. The Butcher kills the sheik. He murders the sheik’s small son in front of his mother with his electric drill. The Butcher shouts: 'You talk to them, you die with them.'”

I don't think I've ever met a person as brainwashed as the OP. What has been done to him to give him this view of the world is downright evil.
Evil is launching wars of choice from Korea to Kandahar in order to prop up a malignant economic system designed to concentrate vast sums of money in a few hands while impoverishing billions of human beings. I'm sorry for your ignorance, but that won't change Evil.

Suck it Ackbar.

Clinton wasn't Republican.

You know, I was all set to reply to the OP, quoted it, type out the first sentence, but what's the point? Wouldn't matter, couldn't make difference, it'd just be time wasted...

Not to mention the fact I'd only be replying to the article as the OP contains no relevant material or input from the OP's author...

OP: Liberals hate Americans and American soldiers, sailors and Marines

It wasn't the information his administration provided us that we based our assessment of Iraq on. Once again, did you guys even pay attention during the ordeal? It also wasn't Clinton's decision to disband the Iraqi army and ban Baathists from government. It was probably the single worse thing we could have done after "liberating Iraq" and Iraq's current instability owes itself to our decision to do that: under Bush.

But once again, I care far less about assigning blame than I do about the simply acknowledgment of the fact that the war was unjust, a terrible idea, and initially very poorly executed.

Chris Hedges has covered war zones from central America to Bosnia to Palestine, and Iraq for most of his life. His take on Chris Kyle isn't flattering:

"Kyle was given the nickname 'Legend.'

"He got a tattoo of a Crusader cross on his arm. 'I wanted everyone to know I was a Christian.

"I had it put in red, for blood.

"I hated the damn savages I’d been fighting,' he wrote. 'I always will.'

"Following a day of sniping, after killing perhaps as many as six people, he would go back to his barracks to spent his time smoking Cuban Romeo y Julieta No. 3 cigars and 'playing video games, watching porn and working out.'

"On leave, something omitted in the movie, he was frequently arrested for drunken bar fights. He dismissed politicians, hated the press and disdained superior officers, exalting only the comradeship of warriors.

"His memoir glorifies white, 'Christian' supremacy and war.

"It is an angry tirade directed against anyone who questions the military’s elite, professional killers."

Chris Kyle: American psychopath.

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

Only the right is too cognitively dissonant to realize it is just socialism bailing out the wealthiest capitalists, with the (other) Peoples' tax monies.

Clinton's information differed from Bush's in what substantive way?

It also wasn't Clinton's decision to disband the Iraqi army and ban Baathists from government.

Now you're confused about the timeline?

I care far less about assigning blame

Stop it, you're killing me!! LOL!

You also just pointed out that the UN mandate says countries are allowed to defend against threats. That's a very subjective clause. You may feel that we weren't threatened, that doesn't make it a fact.
Iraq posed no imminent threat to the US homeland, and the UNSC did not authorize the 2003 US invasion of Iraq. What ever crimes of empire Muslims have committed in their history are more than rivaled by yours.

You really should stop displaying your utter ignorance.

The October 2002, U.S. congress Iraq War Resolution cited many factors to justify the use of military force against Iraq:

  • Iraq's noncompliance with the conditions of the 1991 ceasefire agreement, including interference with U.N. weapons inspectors.
  • Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction, and programs to develop such weapons, posed a "threat to the national security of the United States and international peace and security in the Persian Gulf region."
  • Iraq's "brutal repression of its civilian population."
  • Iraq's "capability and willingness to use weapons of mass destruction against other nations and its own people".
  • Iraq's hostility towards the United States as demonstrated by the 1993 assassination attempt on former President George H. W. Bush and firing on coalition aircraft enforcing the no-fly zones following the 1991 Gulf War.
  • Members of Al-Qaeda, an organization bearing responsibility for attacks on the United States, its citizens, and interests, including the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, are known to be in Iraq.
  • Iraq's "continuing to aid and harbor other international terrorist organizations," including anti-United States terrorist organizations.
  • Iraq paid bounty to families of suicide bombers.
  • The efforts by the Congress and the President to fight terrorists, including the September 11th, 2001 terrorists and those who aided or harbored them.
  • The authorization by the Constitution and the Congress for the President to fight anti-United States terrorism.
  • The governments in Turkey, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia feared Saddam and wanted him removed from power.
  • Citing the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, the resolution reiterated that it should be the policy of the United States to remove the Saddam Hussein regime and promote a democratic replacement.

The Niger yellow cake claim didn't stem from the Clinton Administration. The Office of Special Plans was also created by the Bush Administration and it was they who tried to link Saddam to Al Qaeda, not Clinton.

It also wasn't Clinton's decision to disband the Iraqi army and ban Baathists from government.

Now you're confused about the timeline?

Not at all, the Iraqi military was disbanded and the Baathists kicked from government after the invasion, which was under Bush not Clinton. Not sure why you would think that is confusing?

Most of those were at the time and are now disproved. Straight up, there was no real reason for war except to get war profiteers paid. You are one of the dumb patsys who support that.
In WW2 war profiteering was considered unpatriotic in the extreme. You support guys who do it now...

American Sniper is a good movie, fairly entertaining and is as accurate as other hollywood movies. Does it deserve to be a massive box office hit, well each to there own.. I thought Green Zone was better fun and it tanked...

Was the movie fully truthful, eh... Well they left the most important bit out, even afters years leaving the war he became a casualty of it.

Probably a very interesting part of all this will be the trial of Eddie Ray Routh, the man who we believe killed Chris Kyle. HE was suffering from PSTD and had been twice to a mental hospital. Is this the kind of guy you give a gun to. Eddie Ray Routh was and probably still is a very sick man. Where was the investigation into how Chris died and the help given to veterans like Eddie Ray Routh.

GOP incompetence killed Chris Kyle.

Osomir,
What's confusing is this guy thinks he can talk about these events with this much inaccuracy.
