Kicked Off The Xbox Platform

I built this one settlement in that game.
2-3 story, perimeter auto- turrets, wraparound mega-porch on the top.
Movies, cooking, shops, a girl singing, lounging, eating area. It had all that.
It was at that one along some defunct railroad tracks from end to end.
There's like..2 dykes there trying to make it farming.
I built it into a bustling community. 😆
Oh! It has a 2-story railroad shack in the middle of it that's a pain in the ass to work around.
The grade's all crazy too, but whatever. :dunno: I like it. It's fun.

**** if I know....I don't play Fallout. I play fortnite.
I just realized I play Fallout for the building. Now.
It started in New Vegas. Pretty crashy, but kickass.
With 4, settlements and mods? Oh! So much fun.
I doubt that kind of stuff can be done on an XBOX.
They got ya all boxed in with that.
I have made some awesome "Sanctuary" settlements, lemme tell ya.
Several different varieties. None that don't protect the settlers.
I'm pretty sure that bridge is where Crispus Attucks got shot.
In real stuff. And if you don't know who Crispus Attucks is, you damn sure should, because that's America.
He was us, and we got 'em for him.

Battle Royal allows you to build structures.....but they have no-build games on fortnite also for people who don't like, our aren't any good at building.
They also have a Lego island you can build on that stays there and you can come back to it.
Battle Royal is a multi-shooter where you drop in and it goes until only one player is left. The Nuke storm slowly funnels everyone into a small area to help end the game sooner.
They must have over 100 different games at fortnite. They even started a new zombie game just recently.
One of them is pretty much a free-for-all where two 50 player teams just try to get 100 kills to end the game.
You have to have eyes in the back and sides of your head in that one.
The trick is getting guys organized so we can stay together and mop up enemy stragglers.

Sounds like halfway in between what I do and
oh damn, I can't find that on the internet right now, and Fallout 76.
The thing I can't find on the internet, it relates to zombies and Arma 3 , and it's a whole thing unto itself.
An entire community like as big as UO ever was. 5x bigger.
Gah! What is it?

I play Fallout Shelter on my cell all of the time.
I haven't played the RPG for quite awhile.

I cap my frames at 60 with gpu software, not the game.
Not Fallout, I got teh turbo on that. I probably cap Fallout at like 300 or so.
Or just rely on the Godsend freaking physics fix mod fullspeed with no limitations.
Fallout has a lot of things going on at all times. In the distance and all kinds of things.
"Wandering Monsters". 😆

I had to boost up my cell to 120 to play Clash Of Clans.....because when they go 7X it can cause your screen to jump or freeze and you lose because you can't react.

But can it play Crysis?

Do you suffer from some malady that prevents you from going outside?
I work outside almost daily. Are you a f*cking numbskull? Don't answer. I've already drawn my conclusion.

Buy a gaming PC.

My Xbox's have been collecting dust since I made the switch (360, series S).

I'm taking your advice. A gaming PC will be delivered this Tuesday. It's not the highest end but it's not the cheapest either. Is there a specific gaming app that you recommend?

I'm lazy and just use STEAM. Never had a problem with them.

I tend to play older Bethesda Games (Fallout 3, NV, 4, Skyrim) or AAA games after they have been out 6 months to a year. For newer games I end up waiting for one of the holiday sales like for BG3. Recently started S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 which I caught on the X-Mas sale so it was ready to go when needed. That way I get a slightly cheaper price, and the game has usually worked out the post-launch kinks.

You can also share libraries with family members so different individuals can play the game on different PC's.

Another reputable site is GOG (gog.com), it's probably a coin flip on STREAM or GOG.

Cool. I already signed up with Steam. Do you use keyboard and mouse or a controller?

Well ... it's been fun, Xbox. But I suppose all good things must end.

I've owned the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and, most recently and currently, the Xbox Series X gaming systems. I still own all but the 360 which I gave to my stepson years ago. I am just shy of a gamer score of 250,000.

I was recently playing Fallout 4 and had reached level 240 and had more than 3 million caps. I went to log into the game and it wouldn't load. I tried everything (moving it to another memory device; uninstalling/re-installing; etc.) but to no avail. At the same time that game decided to kill itself, Oblivion Remastered came out so I've been playing that ever since. Until today, that is.

I was on my way to an Oblivion gate that was threatening Anvil when the game went blank and sent me to my home screen. This has happened a few times so I went to log back in to continue playing (I am level 32 and am a fairly powerful Dark Elf). Anyway, Microsoft/Xbox decided to require my Microsoft password to log back in. This is a first and has never happened before. So I entered my current Microsoft password but got a message that it was "invalid." So I tried a few other passwords that I've used in the past. Nothing worked.

So it appears that all my experience with Xbox/Microsoft has reached its end. If you've ever experience something similar, please let me know.

So I guess I'm going to buy a PlayStation. Amazon offers a discount on the PlayStation if I'm willing to trade in my current system. I can get $220.00 for my Xbox Series X. Of course, I'll be taking a loss but better than owning an Xbox boat anchor just sitting there collecting dust. The most unfortunate thing is that Oblivion isn't available for PlayStation at this time (maybe it will be available in the future).

Does anyone have some good games they would recommend for PlayStation? I'm a huge Bethesda fan but they lean towards Xbox over other platforms. I'm really disappointed and a little pissed but there's nothing I can do about it.

Ideas? Advice? Personal experiences?

I am obsolete with games but last decade I loved the last of us and dead space 2

Ever play Turok or Duke Nukem?
Not yet. I'm currently downloading Oblivion Remastered but download speeds are brutally slow. I started the download at 6:30PM yesterday. It's currently around 1:30AM and it's only at 21%.

After hours of trying to get Steam to work and asking lots of people across the internet, finally someone tells me that I have to download "Steam Client." That would have been really great information from the get-go.
