Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday accused right-wing Israelis of deliberately thwarting efforts to broker a peace deal with the Palestinians.

In unusually stark terms, Mr. Kerry warned that the building of Israeli settlements was undermining any hope of an agreement to allow two states to live side by side.

I posted regularly on the John Kerry forum when he was running for president, and the pro-Pally bias there was revolting. People could say just about anything about Jews, but people were censored heavily in regards to criticism of Pallys. Kerry was saying one thing in public, but his website was sending the real message.

There is certainly bias all wrapped up in that american point of view regarding the Israelis and Palestinians, yes.

Dogmaphobe, Weatherman2020, et al,

I think Secretary Kerry is a bit of an aristocrat. And his impression of Israel --- as seen from that level; is corrupted. He is surrounded by --- and listens to other aristocrats.

(COMMENT)

Simply because there are some "right-wing Israelis of deliberately thwarting efforts" does not mean that the magnitude of their impact is something that could change those that are concerned about the 1000 other considerations that a brokered peace deal might effect.

Most Respectfully,

Who cares what Mr. Frankenstein thinks? He hasn't been able to clean up Hillary's mess, and is on his way out anyway.

There will not be a peace deal. The Israeli leadership will not accept the two state solution, they never intended to. A two-state solution has been dead for a long time.

"Donald Trump’s Election Day win means “the era of a Palestinian state is over,” a top Israeli official said Wednesday."

Trump win means no two-state solution in Middle East, Israeli official says
How many Palestines should there be? There's already one, it's called Jordan.

Any schoolboy who collected stamps before the advent of email will be able to tell you that overprints on postage indicates a different and distinct state from the original stamp.

"We are Free" states the overprint on a Czechoslovakian stamp after the Czech lands became part of the Third Reich.

What's your point? Still doesn't negate the fact that at some point, Jordan was considered Arab Palestine, Israel, Jewish Palestine.

Has everything to do with it. The Arab IslamoNazis want to create a Jew-free Palestine, whereas they already have one in Jordan.

You falsely stated that Jordan is part of Palestine. In support of that absurdity you showed a postage stamp overprinted with the word Palestine. My point is to inform you about the meaning of postage stamp overprints and your improper use of one to support your claim when what you did was prove of the opposite.

No, Trans-Jordan was always known as a different place, region, area, fiefdom, emirate with a Bedouin population as opposed to the Levantine population population of Palestine.

A deal is something you get from a used car salesman.

And that is how you go into negotiations if you have any sense. Going by your replies you have never had to negotiate anything in your life, so are not qualified to pass comment on the subject

Will an official document by the lands legal soveriegn owner suffice as evidence

The Avalon Project : The Palestine Mandate

ART. 25.

In the territories lying between the Jordan and the eastern boundary of Palestine as ultimately determined, the Mandatory shall be entitled, with the consent of the Council of the League of Nations, to postpone or withhold application of such provisions of this mandate as he may consider inapplicable to the existing local conditions, and to make such provision for the administration of the territories as he may consider suitable to those conditions, provided that no action shall be taken which is inconsistent with the provisions of Articles 15, 16 and 18.

So proving that trans Jordan was part of palestine after the demise of the Ottoman Empire, and was part of the mandate of palestine

Covered by the mandate of palestine as proven by the official LoN treaties and minutes. Proper source documents

What does a pamphlet written by arab muslims have to do with population figures in palestine, when it includes trans Jordan as part of palestine ?
