kelleyanne to Trump critics: be careful what you say

Kelleyanne kicked all you alls asses.....she is sitting on top of the world right now. This women can write her own ticket. She singlehandedly took the progressive minority apart piece by piece. Sure she will be hated by the socialists among us but they are exposed as the extreme minority that they are and they are not to be listened to.

Now she is threatening the free press.

That didn't take long. Not even a week has passed, and the president elect's team is already warning Trump critics to be "careful" about the way they criticize Trump.

Did she threaten to send you to the Trump gulag, Fakey?

To use a term from another thread, Harry Reid sounds "butt hurt". ;)

"Conway's reference to "a legal sense" led host Chris Wallace to follow up, pressing Conway on whether she was suggesting Trump might sue Reid.

"No, I'm not suggesting that at all," Conway said. "I'm calling for responsibility and maturity and decency for somebody who has held one of the highest positions in our government, in a country of more than 300 million people."
"

Nice backpedal, Ms. Conway!
"I'm calling for responsibility and maturity and decency
Wow. Now if only her boss, who is about to hold THE highest position in our government, would do the same.
How about Hillary, Obama and the entire MSM?

After singling out the press at all his rallies the way "the Groper Elect" did, I don't think he's going to get too much favorable coverage as time goes on. Media Karma? Or payback's just a MF?
It was the "favorable" coverage that got him elected. ;)

We'll see. Threatening people's freedom of speech. Not to mention trying to blame the press for inciting the spontaneous protests that popped up. I hope his handlers can keep him from making too much of a fool of himself and limit the damage he does.
soros sponsored events you mean?

Like I wrote in post # 9, if Soros continues his meddling, either by sponsoring protests like these election protests, or like those riots he sponsored in Ferguson, Baltimore and Charlotte, if Trump doesn't do something about them, then it will be his own fault.

prisonmike, you learned how to read in the big house. Harry Reid did not threaten to riot or hurt people.

Criticize the President and get sued? There aren't enough lawyers in America to pull that off.
No need.

A few high-profile cases would do nicely, no doubt.
No such thing will or could happen. Watch Kelleyanne walk it back before the end of the week.
Then we will know shortly whether you're right.

About her walking it back, I mean.

Wouldn't change a thing about future intentions related to defamation suits, however...

Merely that the New Guy doesn't want to tip his hand prior to Coronation Inauguration Day.
The defamatory suits are being geared up for the far and alt right media at the same time.

This will be interesting.

Agreed with Jake on this; Kellyanne will cease and desist from such bullshit. The linked article already had her immediately walk it back when pressed on the issue:
"Then, she added: "He should be very careful about characterizing somebody in a legal sense. He thinks -- he thinks he's just being some kind of political pundit there, but I would say be very careful about the way you characterize it."

Conway's reference to "a legal sense" led host Chris Wallace to follow up, pressing Conway on whether she was suggesting Trump might sue Reid.

While the nation prepares to transition from the Obama administration to the Trump administration, Trump and his staff need to transition from campaign mode to elected leadership mode. Threatening to sue people or shut down the free press isn't leadership, it's intimidation and bullying. That won't work and will only piss off the majority of Americans.
