This is one of the basic problems with American politics. They all do it, but it only counts when their team does it, not when our team is just as guilty. Democrat and Republican are just two sides of the same shitty coin and their supporters who are willing to look the other way are the main cause of that crap.

Politics should not be a spectator sport complete with logos and colors and slogans.

It's the job of We The People to keep the parties honest and hold all those talking heads and politicians' feet to the flames but far too many just refuse to see it for what it is because of party loyalty.
