I have always maintained that the best people should get the jobs. I made that absolutely clear, even though you ignore it every time. I simply do not care if my doctor has white, pink, brown, black or green skin as long as he/she is a really good doctor. Although, if they really are green, I would want them to get that checked out first.

As I've maintained, I have no problem with the skin color of the guys building the bridge I'm going to drive over, they'd just better do a really good job. Why do you care about it? Do you feel safer if the work crew has enough black construction workers on it? Do you feel safer if your surgeon has a certain skin color? IOW, you haven't made your case that wanting the highest quality is racist, just claimed it is. If I watch the Lakers play, I want to see the best basketball they can play, I don't care what color the players are. Isn't that how it SHOULD be?
