Kash Patel Undermines His "Big Case" Against Wisconsin Judge

former presidents don’t get to violate the espionage act because they feel like it.

They definitely don’t get to obstruct justice.

The question is if he was violating anything, or just pissing the wrong people off.

Nothing was obstructed. This was a document fight.

Keeping classified documents in his basement is a violation of the law. Unless you can show me where the law says it doesn’t apply to FORMER presidents, the DoJ was doing exactly what you’d expect them to do.

Yes, the DoJ was obstructed when Trump lied and hid documents. Obviously. You can’t just say it wasn’t obstructed because you don’t want to believe it.

He did until some time later Biden pulled it. Trump reciprocated.
Nope. Presidents have de facto clearances because of their office. When they don’t have office, they don’t have a clearance.

Show me where previous presidents never kept copies of documents from their presidency.

The DOJ was dealing with the legal process, had a tantrum, and had the FBI raid the house of a former President, who had OTHER federal agents onsite as protection.

So President's get a memory wipe when they leave office so they forget all the classified information they saw?

That has absolutely nothing to do with the topic.

If a former president goes out and starts blabbing about the classified details of our nuclear weapons, do you think they’d get prosecuted for disclosing classified information?

I’m supposed to show you a thing that hasn’t happened?

Go fuck yourself. You know that’s asking the impossible.

Trump had the tantrum. The government said he has to return government documents and he decided to obstruct justice because he didn’t want to follow the law. That’s a tantrum. The government behaved exactly as you’d expect. Actually the government cut Trump a break far more than if it were anyone else.

it shows the level of bullshit your side stoops to against their political opponents.

It's happened in the past. You guys only started caring about it when you saw it as a chance to GETZ TEH TRUMPZ

The DOJ politicized a document dispute. nothing more or less.

No, it doesn’t. It shows the mental gymnastics you stoop to in order to make Trump the victim and not the perpetrator.
