Kash Patel says:

For me these are the issues.

1) Bad government.

Yeah, but that’s kind of on both sides..

People have the right to protest. You might not agree with how they're protesting or not, or what they're protesting, but they have the right as long as it's LEGAL.

People have the right to peacefully petition their government. I know the Supreme Court has ruled that people have the right to protest…various things, and I disagree with that because it’s not what the cotus says, but I digress. Apparently, people have the right to protest any little thing that their brain can come up with, it’s totally unconstitutional, but it is what it is. The main thing is that it has to be peaceful.

By the way, one of those Supreme Court cases actually protects hate speech……something that should ruffles some feathers..

The cotus says you have the right to PETITION your GOVERNMENT, peacefully. So, in my view, the scotus rulings are wrong, but, what are you going to do.

Still, what these people in Minnesota are doing is not peaceful, and they are not allowed to infringe on other people’s rights.

Trump has made this into a issue, and he made the protests.

Trump didn’t make the protests. What are you all blaming him for your actions?

Without Trump would there have been such protests?

You mean without him enforcing the laws?

No. He's provocative and aggressive and people don't like that, so they protest.

Ok, your protesters are provocative and aggressive, so, should we have a protest to protest your protest?

2) Bad policing

Agree

ICE and other police forces, people in such power, need to be trained properly and need to be held accountable for their actions (which goes back to number one).

Agree. ICE is not trained in crowd control, which is why local police SHOULD be there doing that.

In the Renee Good shooting, one ICE agent was standing in front of her car. He shouldn't have been there. Then he shot the car. He shouldn't have shot the car.

Agree, he shouldn’t have shot, but at the same time, if local police were there, she probably wouldn’t have even been there.

This was a combination of bad policing and an awareness by ICE that they won't be held accountable.

I don’t disagree, but, there are things that went wrong on both sides.

3) The local police weren't there because of Trump being provocative.
He has politicized FEMA, for example.

Local police are still supposed to do their job regardless of what the president does. You don’t get to play politics with your duties just because the chief hates trump.

He's said he's sending ICE in the democratic cities en masse. It's causing problems. His fans cheer, others protest.

Well, when democrat cities are openly violating the law and claiming they are not going to abide by immigration law and are going to harbor illegal aliens, that tends to draw more attention.

Why do I blame Trump? Because Trump is responsible for his actions.

But not according to Trump supporters.

If anything good happens, it's Trump.

Trump boasted that the economy was going great just before he took office in 2017. Said it was his economy, even though he hadn't been President at that point.

He took credit for defeating ISIS. He's taken credit for ended eight wars (see my thread on it which not a single MAGA person could write anything sensible) and that is a total JOKE.

But when bad things happen, it's never Trump's fault, it's always someone else's fault. ALWAYS.

That's how Trump operates.

That’s right, and these rioters are responsible for their actions. So blame them for their actions just like you blame trump for his.

You all do the same thing when a democrat is president.

Yes, they are. If they commit a crime, they can be arrested for it. If Trump does something wrong.... there don't seem to be any consequences right now.

I don't do the same, as I'm not a Democrat.

But these rioters have been committing crimes. It’s time that they started getting arrested for it.

Maybe. But then this sort of thing could have been sorted out by now, but Trump doesn't seem to want to stop the chaos.

Maybe. But then this sort of thing could have been sorted out by now, but Trump doesn't seem to want to stop the chaos.

So you’re just gonna blame Trump for everything… If they burn a building down, blame Trump, if they attack somebody and put them in the hospital, blame Trump. So you don’t think that these writers have any agency or any capability in their own actions correct?

Also, the chaos is being caused by the riders themselves. It is being caused by the media who are pushing these stories about all these things that are not really happening.

Trump is simply enforcing immigration law. He said he was going to do this from the beginning. The rioters are simply getting in their way and they’re the ones that are causing all these reactions.

I'll blame Trump if I think Trump is responsible.

If they burn a building down, which I don't think they have done, then of course you have people who are responsible at the individual level.

However if you have someone with POWER who then creates the situation for this to take place, then that person should take way more responsibility.

But not in the US.

Trump isn't just enforcing immigration law, is he?

He's being provocative, and almost certainly deliberately so. He wants the attention, rioting, chaos etc gives him that attention. Biden was enforcing immigration laws, and nothing happened because Biden didn't create the situation.

It's amazing hw little the right thinks before they speak.

Kash Patel in 2023: I’m just saying Chris Wray doesn’t need a government funded G5 jet to go to vacations. Maybe we ground that plane. $15,000 every time it takes off. Just a thought.

Public flight data showed Patel took a government plane last Thursday from Joint Base Andrews near Washington DC to a US Air Force base in Italy. The FBI last week denied Patel was on a personal trip, saying it was planned months ago

LIE

You would blame Kamala so yea.

Whatever is happening in America and around the world because of Trump, yea, we are blaming Trump.

And anything good he does, we give him credit.

I wouldn’t blame Kamala for something she did not do.

Also, democrats don’t give trump credit for anything. If he does something good, they either try to make it into something bad, or they ignore it.

What did he do good? Was it worth all the bad he's doing? Nope. So fine, I give him credit for getting the hostages freed in GAZA. You happy? Nope. You want him to get the Peace Prize. How about after he wins the war he's about to start in Iran?

First war, then Peace....prize.

Trump is not the one responsible for allowing third world countries to open up their jails and send their most hardened criminals here.

I realize that you are far too stupid to understand cause and effect, but it was the people who Biden represented that provided the cause. Trump is only trying to deal with the effect.

I never said I wanted him to win the peace prize, in fact I’m pretty sure I’m on record saying I don’t agree with him getting it simply because he wants it. I’m pretty sure I’ve said that that award should only be given to people who have done things worthy of it.

If he does something worthy of it, and the Nobel committee deems he should get it, then that’s fine.

It's the law.
That's not what Kash is saying

Patel and the FBI have defended the use of FBI aircraft, saying that he is complying with federal law that requires reimbursing the government the cost of commercial airline tickets for his personal travel. Critics note that the cost of operating the FBI aircraft costs tens of thousands of dollars, far exceeding a commercial ticket reimbursement.

It's the law.

Listen schmuck. I never cared about where a FBI director flew. YOU cared. Did you forget that?

Sen. Chuck Grassley for years has been a critic on the issue of using government jets for personal travel. The Iowa Republican wrote letters and excoriated former Attorney General Eric Holder and Wray for their use of the FBI aircraft. But at a hearing last fall where Democrats raised questions about Patel’s use of the plane, he took aim at Patel’s critics.

Holder, the former attorney general who was the subject of criticism from Grassley and other Republicans, says he is struck by the silence from the same Republicans on Patel’s travel.

“Can you imagine the clamor from Republicans if I used a government plane like Patel? All we get now is silence from them,” Holder said.

The shameless arrogance in which you guys are hypocrites.

Hey, if you don't mind Republican hypocrisy just admit it and then you and I never have to talk again. It's like debating civil rights with a nazi. Do you think I'm going to get through to someone who doesn't mind Trump lying constantly. Doesn't mind that he's a hypocrite. Doesn't mind he's in the Epstein files.

A person who voted for Trump because he would make things affordable then you support tariffs that have driven prices up?

A man who doesn't mind that Trump is the most named person in the Epstein file?

I mean, if you don't mind, then **** right off

Before becoming FBI Director in 2025, Kash Patel was a prominent advocate for the public release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, frequently accusing the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI of covering up the information.

His statements before taking office primarily focused on demanding transparency, promising to reveal the identities of those involved, and criticizing previous administrations.

In another 2023 interview, he urged officials to "put on your big boy pants and let us know who the pedophiles are".

In 2023, he stated that the Epstein "black book" (or "Rolodex") was under the direct control of the FBI director.

Patel promised to reveal both the Epstein and "Diddy" lists, stating, "America deserves to see how deep the corruption goes"
