In a Republican administration WH Press Secretary is one of toughest jobs, in a Democrat admin one of the easiest jobs.You can tell a lot about presidential administration by the choices they make for appointments. We saw some very bad choices in the last administration. The deep division in the country notwithstanding, I am very happy with Karoline Leavitt as press secretary. She is a one in a million choice and that bodes well for the Trump administration. It is to their credit that they recognized Leavitt’s abilities and put her out front. She handles the loaded questions like a seasoned lawyer much older than her years. She is not abrasive or condescending. She is one of those defense lawyers that already knows the answers to the questions. She has the makings of a superstar and I would not rule her out for much greater things.

Very true. But Karoline made it look effortless today. Kaitlan Collins thought she was going to rough her up today. Leavitt handled her easily.
