Tim Walz’s has celebrated Chinese communism where “. . . everyone is the same and everyone shares." “The doctor and the construction worker make the same. The Chinese government and the place they work for provide housing and 14 kg or about 30 pounds of rice per month. They get food and housing."

Walz stated the above to his students during a lesson on China’s communist system in November 1991. LINK

To the contrary, here in the United States, our system is designed to protect the inalienable right of our citizens to pursue their own happiness, and for each to succeed or fail by their own doing and choices. The magic of the great wealth produced under America’s system, as opposed to that of China and other socialist/communist systems, is found upon a self-evident principle which rewards the industrious, protecting and allowing each to enjoy the fruits of their own labor. While under China’s communism, and other such oppressive systems, the ambitious are stifled where “. . . everyone is the same and everyone shares", except for China’s rules who live large off the backs of those who are governed.

And that appears to be the attraction to communism by those, like Walz, who embrace China’s system. They get to live large off the backs of those who produce wealth, while distributing, with an iron fist, the wealth which labor has produced.

"As a high school teacher in the 1990s, Democratic vice presidential candidate and Minnesota governor Tim Walz appeared to extol life under Chinese communism, telling his students that it is a system in which "everyone shares" and gets free food and..."

“The property which every man has in his own labor, as it is the original foundation of all other property, so it is the most sacred and inviolable. The patrimony of the poor man lies in the strength and dexterity of his own hands; and to hinder him from employing this strength and dexterity in what manner he thinks proper, without injury to his neighbor, is a plain violation of this most sacred property.” ___ Butchers’ Union Co. v. Crescent City Co., 111 U.S. 746 (1884)

But ....but I don't like the message cause I can't refute it......ummm ummm....... Try weighing facts instead of brushing em off cause you're told too

The dailycaller is run by Tucker Carlson.
Fear not, as boasted by Walz

"The Chinese government . . . provide housing and 14 kg or about 30 pounds of rice per month. "

JWK

John Adams was absolutely correct when he pointed out that “democracy will envy all, contend with all, endeavor to pull down all; and when by chance it happens to get the upper hand for a short time, it will be revengeful, bloody, and cruel…”.

Possibly Walz understood the historical economic context China was dealing with when he was teaching there?

Britain’s century long Opium trafficking and China’s ‘Century of Humiliation’ (1839-1949) | MR Online

"In the early 1700s, China produced 35% of the world GDP.

"Until 1800 half the books in the world were printed in Chinese.

"The country considered itself self-sufficient, not seeking any products from other countries.

"Foreign countries bought Chinese tea, silk, and porcelain, having to pay in gold and silver.

"Consequently, the balance of trade was unfavorable to the British for almost two centuries, like the situation the U.S. and Europe face with China today.

"This trade slowly depleted Western reserves.

"Eventually, 30,865 tons of silver flowed into China, mostly from Britain.

"Britain turned to state sponsored drug smuggling as a solution, and by 1826 the smuggling from India had reversed the flow of silver.

"Thus began one of the longest and continuous international crimes of modern times, second to the African slave trade, under the supervision of the British crown."

Walz is a Communist. Unless we reduce our penchant for cheaper products from China, they will become the top nation of the world within a couple of decades. We are funding our own demise.

China's rise doesn't depend on US consumers anymore than Tim Walz depends on Trump for election advice. Wake up. Trump's a mindless fascist whose only interest is making money from public service.

Opinion | Why Harris-Walz is still the better pick for US-China engagement

"Republicans, led by Donald Trump, a convicted felon who clocked up a reported 30,573 false or misleading statements during his presidency, have swallowed the orange Kool-Aid and are painting a weird and false portrait of Walz. Typical drivel includes the post on X by Trump acolyte and potential secretary of state Richard Grenell: 'Communist China is very happy with @GovTimWalz as Kamala’s VP pick. No one is more pro-China than Marxist Walz.'"

The Kamala/Walz team follow and advocate the communist thinking of Karl Marx in his 1875 Critique of the Gotha Programme: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs”

Today’s Democrat Party Leadership is infested with Authoritarian Revolutionaries, the same kind that disarmed the people of Cuba, stole people’s property, and now rule over the people with an iron fist!

Since Walz is running to be VP, and he has made favorable comments about China's system where there is no "free speech", does he not have a duty to explain to the public why he once made such favorable comments, and if he has changed his previous views, and explain if he now condemns China's system which the CCP openly and proudly accepts that the tenets of “Marxism-Leninism” are asserted to be “. . . correct and have tremendous vitality”?

Seems to me that truth and facts about China and Walz are not the friend of our mainstream media. For example, is it not a fact the rulers of China live large off the working people's labor who are fortunate enough to get "14 kg or about 30 pounds of rice per month" as boasted by Walz?

The truth is out there for those who seek it!

JWK

In every oppressive country like communist China, socialist Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela, etc., where the people are disarmed, they suffer the loss of inalienable rights under an iron fisted government which lives large off the people’s labor. Forewarned is forearmed.

Did you have a link to provide context?

I would like see this boast you claim he made of China.

I provided a link in the OP to the quotes in question, which many have been left with the impression that Walz's comments imply support of China’s system.

Are you people incapable of honest discourse?! This OP is total horseshit

That is what I figured.

An impression.

Lying about political candidates is itself a form of oppression.
