This is true, and by and large. the people that have too many other things they need to spend their money on, besides helping their fellow man, are Dems...and not just money, they don't donate their time either.

I've never heard of a single democrat who actually gave bountifully to charity, though these are the very causes they always run on saying they support!

They are already taking a public sector salary that is below the average salary for their fields and experience.
