During their first joint campaign appearance in Philadelphia, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz pushed a ban on AR-15s and other firearms that Democrats refer to as “assault weapons.”

I agree with the ban the AR 15 … nobody should have one period … that all they are doing is banning your rightist loons a AR15 or the AK 47 you rightist loins think you need a gun that totally blows away the head of a child … that makes you rightist loons feel like a tuff guys… just so you can blow the head right off a child head in one shot …

They are all semi-automatic rifles and the last two are actual weapons of war unlike the AR-15, Mini-14 and M-1A. The interesting thing is that with the exception of SOME Mini-14s, all are more powerful than the AR-15. What is your end-game? Where do you plan to stop?

Where in the Constitution does it say that a private person could own an artillery piece or a warship? It doesn’t, but in 1787 both were legal and common. If it was legal to own a warship, why wouldn’t the same logic apply to AR-15s? ( this is not typed by billytock123, but byvAZrailwhale.
