In some areas of law, even if an investigation is conducted and the party under investigation is found to have not committed said offense, but they attempted to cover up what they did or lie to investigators then the repercussions for this can be more severe than had then not tried to hide it. They end up suffering consequences for the coverup instead of for the acti which was found to be unsubstantiated.

If only that applied to the federal government and this administration.

For all those appearances, does any of those appearances mention anything about Trump meeting up or doing anything with women? I mean, it was funny watching some members of The View, who have the same opinion as you, try to explain why their names were revealed in the Epstein files. Somehow, in their cases, being mentioned in the files wasn't evidence that they knew or participated in anything.
