Removing top secret government files without first declassifying them or letting anyone know is illegal. Trump stole that stuff like a thief in the night. Refusing a subpeona is illegal. Hiding top secret files and then lying about it to the fbi who have already raided your home is illegal. All of these things was why Trump was indicted.
