Black cop kills unarmed white girl at j6 and nothing done to cop. Not charged or even fired and the press has censored the story.

aug 8 2024 A federal judge has ordered the Justice Department to “answer” charges in a $30 million wrongful death suit on behalf of Ashli Babbitt, the 35-year-old Trump supporter shot dead as she entered a lobby just off the House floor during the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.

In a sign that the case filed by Babbitt’s estate and Washington-based Judicial Watch has been greenlighted, U.S. District Court Judge Ana C. Reyes gave the government a month to address four of the seven counts in the lawsuit. Those four include the “wrongful” death count as well as negligence and assault and battery claims against then-U.S. Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd.

I always chuckle at claims of something being censored and then posting a link to it.

The case is quite plausible. There is no law enforcement principle that would justify KILLING an unarmed woman for wrongful entry. Nobody was in imminent danger of serious bodily harm, which is the standard.

Anyone saying, "this case is going nowhere," is undoubtedly someone who believes Trump will go to jail for whatever-the-fuck he was convicted of in Manhattan...that is to say s/he is an idiot.

For the record, I would like to say that we need even treatment of these issues. We either need to find everyone guilty or everyone innocent. I'm fine with this black cop not being charged in this situation, just as long as white cops aren't charged in these situations either. We can't have a two tiered justice system.

Was good poster DGS49 in that lobby at that time?
If he was....which side of the breached-barricade door was he on?
I ask because......it makes a difference.
I ask because the situation on the police side of that barrier was dire....and dangerous. The imminent peril was clear.

The police had been hearing in their earpieces that their colleagues were being savagely beaten downstairs and on the Capitol steps. The police had "lost the line" of defense and violent attackers were now streaming into the Capitol building.

Which brings us to now dead Babbitt. She was an active and vehemently vocal participant with the violent mob. She encouraged them in the violent breaching of that door while she screamed at police on the other side.
And when the breach opened wide enough for her to charge through. She did.

She did. Despite being warned to 'leave', to back away, to do not enter. And crucially being warned that a police pistol was being brandished as a warning. She charged through the breach anyway,. Babbitt as the tip-of-the-spear. The point-man of the violent mob hellbent on attacking America's elected representatives.

Poor dead Babbitt. May her family find peace. And peace from rightwing nutjobs regularly dragging her bloody corpse across whiney MAGA snowflake chatrooms.

IMHO

The insurrectionist crowd dispersed as soon as Ashli got her bullet and that saved America's politicians on the other side of the barricaded door.
And it also saved.....and Babbitt get so little credit for it.....but it also saved other violent insurrectionist who she was leading through the breached opening. Meaning, more of them could have been rightfully shot as they too leaped into the breach towards the guarding police and the vulnerable Representatives.

She fell bleeding. And the insurrectionists lost heart and retreated.
A good shoot.

WTF are you talking about? That is what we have had in this country since it was taken and as long as black folks were on the receiving end of it you were fine with it.

I see what you're saying. You're saying that if white cops kill black criminals then they should be prosecuted but if black cops kill white criminals, they should not be prosecuted.

As usual, you spout lies and bullshit. No warning was given. NO OTHER OFFICERS there saw any threat. Your coward Byrd shot and ran like the cowardly murderer he is. Your lies and bullshit being what they are, the truth is that she posed ZERO threat. Period. Pathetic excuses coming in 3, 2,....
