This is NOT an attempt to defend Putin / Russia or justify anything they did...as I said, just 'FYI':
The U.S. is no stranger to interfering in the elections of other countries
"The U.S. has a long history of attempting to influence presidential elections in other countries – it’s done so as many as 81 times between 1946 and 2000, according to a database amassed by political scientist Dov Levin of Carnegie Mellon University.
That number doesn’t include military coups and regime change efforts following the election of candidates the U.S. didn’t like, notably those in Iran, Guatemala and Chile. Nor does it include general assistance with the electoral process, such as election monitoring."
Under President Obama:
- Obama helped oust US ally dictator Mubarak then injected himself into Egypt's election process by demanding Egypt hold their elections early. This benefitted the terrorist group The Muslim Brotherhood because they were the only ones ready for an immediate election so soon after Mubarak's removal.
- Hillary and Obama financed, supplied, armed, trained, defended, and Un-Constitutionally took the country to war to help Al Qaeida - the terrorist group that slaughtered 3,000 Americans - kill / oust Libyan dictator Mommar Qaddafi and take over their own country, DESPITE the fact that Kaddafi had been HELPING the coalition fight terrorists in Northern Africa.
Of course we can not tolerate any foreign nation interfering with our elections...but / so should we doing the same, injecting ourselves into other nations' elections?
- Hillary and Obama financed, supplied, armed, trained, defended, and Un-Constitutionally took the country to war to help ISIS over throw Syrian leader Assad, which the Russians have prevented.
- Obama injected himself into Israeli politics / elections by trying to oust Israel's leader Netenyahu. (Funny, his intervention in the Israeli election resulted in the same type of loss for the candidate he supported as when he injected himself into the 2014 US Mid-term elections and the US 2016 Presidential election.)
I 100% agree that we can not tolerate any foreign nation interfering with out elections; however, we should demand our government not do so either. Usually when it happens, especially under Obama, it never ends well:
Assad
Castro
Noriega
Hussein
Qaddafi
Mubarak
The Muslim Brotherhood
Al Qaeida....
