Julian Assange: Time Magazine's Political Prisoner of the Year

The US government’s prosecution of those who oppose it, is an old story. Look up Eugene Debs. He opposed Wilson’s war (WWI). Wilson prosecuted him and he received a 10 year prison sentence, which Wilson refused to commute before he left office and after the war had ended. Lincoln treated journalists and others who opposed his war much the same.

Apparently the Constitution doesn’t prevent these wrongs, though it was supposed to. Yet another example of the failed state we live in.

Eugene V. ... On June 16, 1918 Debs made an anti-war speech in Canton, Ohio, protesting US involvement in World War I. He was arrested under the Espionage Act of 1917 and convicted, sentenced to serve ten years in prison and to be disenfranchised for life.

Apparently some Americans don’t want the truth about their government. They prefer propaganda that benefits the corrupt State and the duopoly.
Federal supremacists are the dumbest mother fuckers on the planet.
Look at the pinkos in russia. Stalin still has 70% support and he probably killed members of their family.
This isnt a surprise.

Sorry that the Brits did not have the testicular strength to deny the "request" to send Mr. A. to the "Land of the Free."

It is cold comfort to Mr. A., of course, but he will go down in journalism history as one of many journalistic martyrs.

Oh brother, another statist loving asshole.

It has nothing to do with loving the state, it has to do with this guy dealing in stolen merchandise and hoarding most of it and dolling it out over time to keep himself in the spot light.
