"It did not take long for a judge to toss out former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn's lawsuit against the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th riots at the United States Capitol building."

Flynn sues on Tuesday and his restraining order against the Jan. 6 committee gets tossed on the next day.
What does Flynn the Qnut have to hide?

"U.S. District Court Judge Mary Scriven in Tampa said Flynn’s motion... failed for two reasons, including a lack of urgency," writes NBC News' Pete Williams. "The judge noted that the committee postponed Flynn’s deposition to 'a date to be determined.' And while the committee's subpoena said he should produce the documents it requested by Nov. 23, 'there is no evidence in the record as to the date by which the select committee now expects Flynn to comply with its document requests.'"

Because of this, the judge concluded that there is no proof that Flynn "will face immediate and irreparable harm" that would have justified a restraining order against the committee.

Flynn was also supposed to have appeared before the committee to testify this week.

So, she tossed the request for the restraining order because there is no “urgency.” As rulings not on the merits go, that ain’t so bad. This is especially true, in this case, because:

Judge Scriven also said that General Flynn can try again ‘if he believes he can comply with the procedural requirements.’

Activist judges. One more reason why democrats should never hold political office.
And Garland is the "moderate". The two Prog broads on the supreme court are of "equity". We know that. When Repubs come back to power, watch the side stepping start again. Only there is not that much more room for it anymore.

WRONG as usual, Moron. It wasn't a lawsuit, it was a restraining order, dumbass, and it was rejected only on technical grounds because since the committee has set no deadline of compliance, the judge ruled that Flynn cannot yet show imminent danger or threat to him by the committee.

As usual, Chucklehead, yours is a world of half-truths, and partial information.

Was it something to do with law, eh shit for brains? You are definitely posing as Mr. Braniac around here. Keep up your (as expected) usual whining.

That’s not technical grounds, that’s merit. The request for restraining order had no merit.

Yours is also a world of half truths and partial information.
