The reason Trump moved to Florida is to make things hard for his enemies in New York.

The reason he moved to Florida is their bankruptcy laws allow you to keep your home after you file for bankruptcy. He knew his properties in NY were in jeopardy, as they were already being taken back by the banks, and he knew it was just a matter of time before NY caught up with his fraudulent business, and tax filings.

Now it’s time to pay up. Of course, since he’s so innocent and everything, he will be flying back to NY today, to save his good reputation. Right?

Can't run out the clock on contempt charges. Those fines will add up, and the next step is actual confiscation of his properties in the state to satisfy the judgement.

And the beauty of the whole thing?

There's nothing any friendly Trump appointees can do to over rule the judge, or stop those confiscations from happening.

And the New York Attorney Generals investigation continues, and it only escalates as time goes on. Trump is welcome to stay in Florida, and watch the state of NY take his property from him.
